The aim of current study was to use Weighted Gene Coexpression Network Analysis (WGCNA) to identify hub genes related to the incidence and prognosis of KRAS mutant (MT) lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). We involved 184 stage IIB to IV LUAD samples and 59 normal lung tissue samples from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. The R package "limma" was used to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs). ⋯ In summary, our study firstly used WGCNA to identify hub genes in the development of KRAS MT LUAD. The identified prognostic factors would be potential biomarkers in clinical use. Further molecular studies are required to confirm the mechanism of those genes in KRAS MT LUAD.

Case Reports
Contrecoup injury of the prefronto-thalamic tract in a patient with mild traumatic brain injury: A case report.
We report on a patient with mild traumatic brain injury (TBI) with contrecoup injury of the prefronto-thalamic tract (PTT), as demonstrated by diffusion tensor tractography (DTT). ⋯ Injuries of the PTTs associated with a contrecoup brain injury were demonstrated in a patient with mild TBI.

In the study's early stage, the research group had established an evaluation index system for the rational drug use of primary nephrotic syndrome in children. To assess the feasibility of the established index system, we conducted this empirical study. The cross-sectional study was conducted by using the Hospital Information System to extract some general clinical data of hospitalized children with primary nephrotic syndrome, which included registration number, age, sex, diagnosis and medication, etc. ⋯ The most common is respiratory infections, such as the bronchopneumonia, the mycoplasma pneumonia, etc. This study had successfully completed the measurement of the evaluation index system for the rational drug use of primary nephrotic syndrome in children. All indicators are feasible, but the operability and applicability need further research and improvement.

Diagnostic value of mean platelet volume for neonatal sepsis: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
An increasing number of studies in recent years have identified mean platelet volume (MPV) as a predictive marker for neonatal sepsis. However, most of these studies focused on single regions, and therefore, the findings remain inconclusive. We, in this study, aimed to evaluate the potential of MPV as a biological indicator of neonatal sepsis through a systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ MPV was significantly higher in the neonatal sepsis group compared to the control group. Therefore, in clinical practice, MPV could be used as an indicator for the early diagnosis of neonatal sepsis.

Association of miR-4293 rs12220909 polymorphism with cancer risk: A meta-analysis of 8394 subjects.
Several studies have investigated miR-4293 rs12220909 polymorphisms and cancer susceptibility and yielded different results. Because of this controversy, we designed a meta-analysis to assess comprehensively the association of the rs12220909 polymorphism with cancer risk. ⋯ Our results indicate that rs12220909 is not associated with cancer risk. Larger, well-designed multicenter studies are needed to further explore the association of miR-4293 rs12220909 polymorphism with cancer risk.
