Depression as a clinically significant and growing public health issue is the third leading cause of disability. Adolescent-onset depression has been associated with psychiatric, anxiety disorders, suicidality, medical comorbidities, and an elevated risk of major depressive disorder episodes later in life. How to effectively identify, prevent, and treat depression has become one of the key points of discussion among medical institutions/departments. With the importance of depression being emphasized, countries/organizations around the world have developed guidelines for clinical practice related to depression for different groups of people to guide medical staff to implement scientific, effective, and standardized depression management. However, the quality of such guidelines is not yet clear, which is not conducive to the selection of medical staff and affects clinical application to a certain extent. This study aims to evaluate the rigor of the development of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for depression in children and adolescents and will identify, in these documents, the recommendations for depression in children and adolescents. ⋯ INPLASY202080002.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a lung disease with the highest incidence and high mortality in the world. Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) can significantly accelerate the progression of the disease. Pulmonary rehabilitation is one of the effective treatment methods in COPD patients, but few studies have focused on the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation in AECOPD patients. Liuzijue can improve the pulmonary function and relieve symptoms of COPD patients. However, due to the influence of disease and non-invasive ventilation (NIV), AECOPD patients have poor compliance with getting out of bed at the early stage. Sitting and lying Liuzijue is more suitable in AECOPD patients with NIV. Therefore, this study will evaluate the effect of sitting and lying Liuzijue for lung function, exercise endurance, and quality of life in AEOPD patients with NIV. ⋯ It's imperative to focus on pulmonary rehabilitation in AECOPD patients. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of sitting and lying Liuzijue for pulmonary rehabilitation in AECOPD patients with NIV.

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, has emerged to be the biggest global health threat worldwide. COVID-19 marks the emergence of the third large-scale epidemic related to the coronavirus, after SARS-CoV in 2002 and Middle-East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERSCoV) in 2012. The pandemic has had a harmful effect on the public mental health, especially on depression. Increasing systematic reviews (SRs) of coronavirus were focusing on depression. However, the methodological quality of these SRs is unclear. Therefore, to evaluate and compare the normativity of report of SR, we conducted a comprehensive overview of depression during the SARS, MERS, and COVID-19 pandemics. ⋯ INPLASY202080003.

Comparative Study Observational Study
Comparison of efficacies of unipedicular kyphoplasty and bipedicular kyphoplasty for treatment of single-level osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures: A STROBE-compliant retrospective study.
Kyphoplasty (KP) is an effective method for treating osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs). Although the bipedicular approach is considered the main treatment approach, the unipedicular approach has also been shown to be effective. This study aimed to retrospectively compare the radiological and clinical outcomes of unipedicular and bipedicular KP in the treatment of single-level OVCFs. ⋯ Unipedicular and bipedicular KP significantly reduced the pain experienced by patients with single-level OVCF, restored vertebral height, and corrected the KA, which remained stable for at least 1 year after treatment. Unipedicular KP required lower amounts of cement than bipedicular KP and was as effective as bipedicular KP in terms of radiological and clinical outcomes. The results of this study have level three evidence and grade B recommendation.

Anesthetic management of a patient with Bardet-Biedl syndrome undergoing renal transplantation: A case report.
Bardet-Biedl syndrome, which compromises airway management and the cardiovascular and renal systems, is a rare ciliopathic syndrome characterized by multisystem involvement and varying genetic etiologies and clinical manifestations. ⋯ Safe anesthetic management can be achieved with the rigorous preoperative assessment of perioperative complications.
