Keloid is a benign fibroproliferative skin tumor. The respective functions of fibroblasts and vascular endothelial cells in keloid have not been fully studied. The purpose of this study is to identify the respective roles and key genes of fibroblasts and vascular endothelial cells in keloids, which can be used as new targets for diagnosis or treatment. ⋯ Module analysis was mainly enriched in TGF-β signaling pathway. Hub genes were screened out separately. In summary, the DEGs and hub genes discovered in this study may help us understand the molecular mechanisms of keloid, and provide potential targets for diagnosis and treatment.

Chronic pain is the most common disease in the world, which lead the patients to suffer the disability both physically and psychologically. The chronic pain can affects the patients to work, socialize, sleep and can lead to depressive illness, decreased motivation, and a reduction in physical activity. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is one of the major cause of global death. The purpose of our analysis was to detect a more reliable biomarker and small-molecule drug candidates and to identify the precise mechanisms involved in COPD. ⋯ Our study suggests that miR-194-3p, miR-502-5p, and miR-23a-5p might participate in the nosogenesis of COPD. In addition, 4 potential small-molecule drugs were considered potentially useful for treating COPD patients.

In recent years, several observational studies have investigated the association between C-reactive protein to albumin ratio (CAR) and prognosis of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), and yielded controversial outcomes. ⋯ High CAR could be a negative prognostic marker for mCRC patients. More large-sample clinical trials are still needed to confirm the prognostic significance of CAR in mCRC.
