To prove the positive association between resilience and clinical communication ability among Chinese nursing students, and to determine whether coping styles play a mediating role in the relationship between them. Four hundred and seventy-one nursing students from a traditional Chinese Medical university were enrolled in this study. They completed some questionnaires, which included the Chinese Version of the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ), Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale Chinese Version, and Clinical Communication Ability Scale. ⋯ Resilience was positively associated with clinical communication ability (P < .01). Coping styles which included positive coping and negative coping both significantly affected clinical communication ability (P < .01) and intermediated the relationship between resilience and clinical communication ability (P < .01). Resilience is positively related to clinical communication ability among Chinese nursing students, and coping styles intermediated the relationship between them, which may provide scientific evidence to aid in developing intervention strategies to improve interpersonal skills.

GnRHa as a treatment for letrozole-resistant recurrent adult granulosa cell tumors: A case report.
The optimal management of recurrent ovarian granulosa cell tumors is still unknown, and hormone therapy may be an alternative for chemotherapy-resistant cases. ⋯ Hormone therapy may be an alternative to treat recurrent granulosa cell tumors, and gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists may be a rescue treatment for aromatase inhibitor-resistant cases.

T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a relatively uncommon disorder in adults. Kidneys are not frequently invaded by leukemic cells, and patients with adult ALL showing nephromegaly as an initial presentation are rare. ⋯ Although rare, ALL in the initial and relapsed phases can be associated with bilateral nephromegaly and renal impairment due to the invasion of leukemic cells into the parenchyma with or without abnormal leukemic cells in circulation. Leukemia is an important differential diagnosis of renal impairment with bilateral nephromegaly.

Life-threatening Mycobacterium intracellulare pleuritis in an immunocompetent host: Case reports.
Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM)-associated pleuritis is a very rare disease. Here, we describe 2 cases of life-threatening Mycobacterium intracellulare-associated pleuritis in immunocompetent hosts. ⋯ Pleural effusion arising from NTM lung disease located in the subpleural area should be considered a possible cause of NTM-associated pleuritis. Drainage and a multidrug regimen are required to treat NTM, and surgical treatment should be considered when complications occur.

Breast carcinoma is the most common primary source of choroidal metastasis (CM). In the present case, esophageal cancer was the primary tumour, brain metastasis occurred, and CM occurred later in the left eye with 2 retinal detachments, which is very rare. ⋯ It is important to consider CM when the first retinal detachment and known cancer are diagnosed. At present, it is necessary to develop a standardised treatment plan as well as a multidisciplinary approach to early diagnosis, combined treatment, and timely intervention for such cases.
