The incidence of gestational diabetes is increasing, which not only cause adverse pregnancy outcomes, but also increases the risk of diabetes for pregnant women and their children. Insulin is the gold standard for the treatment of gestational diabetes, but there are some disadvantages, such as poor patient compliance. Metformin has been used in the treatment of gestational diabetes, but the evaluation of its efficacy and safety is lack of reliable evidence-based medicine evidence. The purpose of this study was to systematically investigate the efficacy and safety of metformin in the treatment of diabetic gestational diabetes. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/ OSF.IO / 7RB95.

Sciatica is a common and frequent peripheral neuropathic pain disease, which causes a great burden on peoples life. Recently, acupoint catgut embedding (ACE) has been widely applied for treating sciatica in China, however, there is no enough evidence to prove the efficiency and safety of ACE for sciatica. Our study aims to evaluate the efficiency and safety of ACE for sciatica. ⋯ Ethical approval is unnecessary as this protocol is only for systematic review and does not involve privacy data. The findings of this study will be disseminated electronically through a peer-review publication or presented at a relevant conference.

Psoriasis (Pso) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) frequently have a negative impact on patients' sexual health. We have developed a specific questionnaire assessing the impact of Pso and PsA on patient perception of sexuality: the QualipsoSex Questionnaire (QSQ). The aim of the present study was to further validate this questionnaire by checking its psychometric properties including validity, reliability, and responsiveness. ⋯ The QSQ also demonstrated acceptable sensitivity to change. The QSQ has demonstrated good psychometric properties fulfilling the validation process relative to the recommendations of the COSMIN check list. The QSQ is simple to score and may hopefully be valuable in clinical practice and in clinical trials.
