Plaque psoriasis (PSO) is a common clinical chronic inflammatory skin disease. The incidence rate is increasing year by year due to the fast pace of work and unhealthy diet. Fire needle has been widely used in the treatment of PSO. However, the efficacy of fire needle for PSO is uncertain. Thus, the purpose of this systematic review is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of fire needle for PSO (blood stasis syndrome). ⋯ INPLASY202120007.

To evaluate the effect of astragaloside IV for hepatic fibrosis. The multiple databases like Pubmed, Embase, Cochrane databases, and China National Knowledge database were used to search for the relevant studies, and full-text articles involved in the evaluation on effect of astragaloside IV for hepatic fibrosis. Review Manager 5.2 was adopted to estimate the effects of the results among selected articles. ⋯ Transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) in model group was higher than that in astragaloside group (MD was -0.55, P of heterogeneity <.00001, I2 = 97%, Z = 2.54, P of over effect = .01). Limited publication bias was observed in this study. Astragaloside IV is a potential clinical drug for the treatment of liver fibrosis considering liver function and hepatic fibrosis related protein factor in experimental rats are improved.

To examine the knowledge level, behaviors, and psychological status of the Chinese population during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to explore the differences between urban and rural areas. We carried out a cross-sectional survey of the knowledge, behaviors related to COVID-19, and mental health in a probability sample of 3001 community residents in 30 provinces or districts across China from February 16-23, 2020. Convenience sampling and a snowball sampling were adopted. ⋯ Being married (OR = 4.960, 95%CI = 2.608-9.434), being satisfied with the precautions taken by the community (OR = 2.484, 95%CI = 1.315-4.691), screening to ensure face mask wearing before entering the community (OR = 8.809, 95%CI = 2.649-19.294), and having knowledge about precautions (OR = 4.886, 95%CI = 2.604-9.167) and outcomes (OR = 2.657, 95%CI = 1.309-5.391) were positively associated with acceptable conduct in rural areas. The status of anxiety and depression among urban residents was more severe compared to those living in rural areas. There was a difference in being positively associated with constructive behaviors between rural and urban areas.

Evidence reveals that inflammatory factors can predict coronary restenosis in patients suffering from coronary heart disease (CHD) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Perhaps, inflammatory factors are promising biomarkers for the diagnosis of coronary restenosis after PCI. However, the accuracy of inflammatory factors has not been systematically evaluated. Therefore, it is necessary to perform a meta-analysis to certify the diagnostic values of inflammatory factors on coronary restenosis after PCI. ⋯ Ethical approval will not be necessary since this systematic review and meta-analysis will not contain any private information of participants or violate their human rights.

Coexisting rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS) in the same patient is often thought to be rare, and thus misdiagnosis is common. The aim of our study was to describe the main characteristics of RA coexisting with AS in patients with delayed diagnoses and improve awareness of the disease association. Between 2012 and 2018, data from 22 patients who had RA and AS (RA/AS) were retrospectively reviewed. ⋯ The DAS28 and BASDAI scores at the 2-year follow-up evaluation were lower than the initial assessment. Coexisting RA and AS is often misdiagnosed for many years; a lack of recognition of RA and AS together is one of the most common reasons. Systemic, symmetric, peripheral, and axial arthritis in middle-aged women were the most frequent presentations at onset.
