Lung pleomorphic carcinoma (LPC) is generally resistant to chemotherapy or radiotherapy. However, a combination of immune checkpoint inhibitors and radiotherapy has a remarkable efficacy against LPC. ⋯ A combination of chemoradiotherapy, atezolizumab, and APC showed a good efficacy, and the patient had a good response to atezolizumab maintenance therapy. Multidisciplinary treatments, such as a combination of immune checkpoint inhibitors and APC, could have synergistic efficacy in lung cancer.

ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients with multivessel disease (MVD) have a higher incidence of slow-flow/no-reflow (SF-NR) phenomenon during primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) than those with single vessel disease. Currently, no effective tools exist to predict the risk of SF-NR in this population. The present study aimed to evaluate whether CHA2DS2-VASc score can be used as a simple tool to predict this risk. ⋯ The incidence of SF-NR in patients with CHA2DS2-VASc score ≥3 was 1.7 times higher than that in patients with CHA2DS2-VASc score <3. Additionally, patients with CHA2DS2-VASc score ≥3 plus ≥2 risk factors have 3 times higher incidence of SF-NR than those with CHA2DS2-VASc score ≥3 plus 0 to 1 risk factor. CHA2DS2-VASc score ≥3 can be used as a simple and sensitive indicator to predict SF-NR phenomenon and guide the PPCI strategy in STEMI patients with MVD.

Graft kidney hydronephrosis caused by transplant ureter inguinal hernia: A case report.
Ureteral obstruction of the graft kidney is a common complication of kidney transplantation. However, ureteral obstruction caused by inguinal hernia has rarely been reported. We present a rare case of ureteral obstruction with allograft dysfunction caused by an inguinal hernia. ⋯ The orientation of the graft kidney has a significant influence on the location of the ureter. Upward orientation of the hilum will result in superficial location of the ureter, rendering it close to the hernial sac and susceptible to incarceration. The transplant surgeon should be aware of such a presentation of graft dysfunction with inguinal hernia to prevent a delay in the diagnosis and graft loss.

A seminal vesicle cyst is a benign lesion of the seminal vesicle that is usually asymptomatic. However, when a giant seminal vesicle cyst ruptures and bleeds, it can cause obvious clinical symptoms. To our knowledge, no single giant seminal vesicle cyst with hemorrhage has been reported in current studies, and surgery is the primary method to treat seminal vesicle hemorrhage with obvious symptoms. ⋯ Seminal vesicle hemorrhage is clinically rare, and laparoscopic treatment is an effective and safe surgical method for the treatment of seminal vesicle cysts.

Research trends for papillary thyroid carcinoma from 2010 to 2019: A systematic review and bibliometrics analysis.
Thyroid carcinoma comprises the fastest rising incidence of carcinomas over the past decade. Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most predominant type of thyroid carcinoma. This study aimed to assess the research trends in the field of PTC. ⋯ This bibliometric study provides a comprehensive analysis delineating the scientific productivity, collaboration, and research hotspots within the PTC field, which will be very helpful when focusing on the direction of research over the next few years.
