Meta Analysis
Relationship between ABO blood group and gestational diabetes mellitus: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a common metabolic disorder syndrome in women during pregnancy. If effective measures are not taken to intervene in the early stage of GDM, severe effects will damage maternal and infant health. ABO is the most important human blood group system. A large number of studies have displayed that ABO blood group is associated with many diseases. At present, the risk relationship between ABO blood group and GDM is controversial. The purpose of this study is to explore the risk relationship between ABO blood group and GDM by meta-analysis, thus providing basis for the prevention and treatment of GDM. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/W6QSX.

There is a worldwide outbreak of COVID-19, and as the number of patients increases, an increasing number of patients are recovering. However, no relevant systematic review or meta-analysis has been designed to evaluate the effects of acupoint herbal patching on the life of patients recovering from COVID-19. ⋯ CRD42021246550.

Cancer is the main cause of death worldwide, and chemotherapy is the basic method of treating cancer. However, chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) is the most common side effect of chemotherapy, and conventional antiemetics for the treatment of CINV also have side effects. At present, a large number of randomized controlled trials have shown that Xiang-Sha-Liu-Jun-Zi (XSLJZ) can effectively treat CINV, but there is no systematic review. Therefore, this systematic review aims to discuss the effectiveness of XSLJZ in the treatment of CINV. ⋯ INPLASY202140079.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Five-year clinical outcomes of the first Korean-made sirolimus-eluting coronary stent with abluminal biodegradable polymer.
This study evaluated the 5-year clinical outcomes of the Genoss DES, the first Korean-made sirolimus-eluting coronary stent with abluminal biodegradable polymer. We previously conducted the first-in-patient prospective, multicenter, randomized trial with a 1:1 ratio of patients using the Genoss DES and Promus Element stents; the angiographic and clinical outcomes of the Genoss DES stent were comparable to those of the Promus Element stent. The primary endpoint was major adverse cardiac events (MACE), which was a composite of death, myocardial infarction (MI), and target lesion revascularization (TLR) at 5 years. ⋯ The rates of MACE (5.3% vs 12.8%, P = .431), death (5.3% vs 10.3%, P = .675), TLR (2.6% vs 2.6%, P = 1.000), and target vessel revascularization (TVR) (7.9% vs 2.6%, P = .358) at 5 years did not differ significantly between the groups. No TLR or target vessel revascularization was reported from years 1 to 5 after the index procedure, and no MI or stent thrombosis occurred in either group during 5 years. The biodegradable polymer Genoss DES and durable polymer Promus Element stents showed comparable low rates of MACE at the 5-year clinical follow-up.

Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) infection is a common health problem, which is closely related to peptic ulcers, gastric cancer, and extragastric diseases. Drugs can successfully eradicate it. However, the recurrence of H pylori often occurs after initial eradication. To confirm the global incidence of H pylori reinfection and systematically evaluate its risk factors. ⋯ This systematic review will provide evidence regarding the rate of H pylori reinfection and its risk factors after successful eradication. It can guide the management of patients with H pylori infection.
