There has been a historic separation between systems that address behavioral health problems and the medical care system that addresses other health issues. Integration of the 2 has the potential to improve care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of Integrated Behavioral Health program on health care utilization and costs. ⋯ This relationship held true for most of the cost measures considered. Integrated Behavioral Health intervention in Rhode Island was associated with significant reductions in emergency department visits and office visits, with no effects on hospitalizations. In terms of the cost outcomes, we found evidence that the intervention negatively affected the likelihood of incurring any non-zero costs but did not affect the level of costs.

Nephrogenic adenoma of the renal pelvis: A rare case report and review of the literature.
Nephrogenic adenoma (NA) is a rare benign lesion of the urinary tract, which rarely occurs in the renal pelvis. Only 19 cases have been reported in the literature. However, there is no detailed report on the clinicopathological features of NA of the renal pelvis. ⋯ NA of the renal pelvis is extremely rare in the clinic, which can be easily misdiagnosed and overtreated. However, for pathological diagnosis of this disease, specific immunohistochemical staining for preoperative biopsy was reported to be significant, which should be considered by the urologists and pathologists.

The current global health crisis due to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has prompted the medical community to investigate the effects of underlying medical conditions, including sleep-disordered breathing, on inpatient care. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common form of sleep-disordered breathing that may complicate numerous acquired conditions, particularly in inpatient and critical care settings. ⋯ Additionally, it will highlight pertinent evidence for the complications of OSA in an organ-systems approach. Finally, this review will also discuss impatient treatment approaches for OSA, particularly in relation to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

The objective of the current study is to analyze the clinical and demographic characteristics of patients with bone metastasis of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and explore their survival predictors. We retrospectively extracted patients with bone metastasis of SCLC from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database. We applied Cox regression analyses to identify independent survival predictor of overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS). ⋯ There was no significant difference of OS and CSS in terms of race and tumor size. Independent predictors of survival were identified among patients with bone metastasis of SCLC, which could be valuable to clinicians in treatment decision. Patients with bone metastasis of SCLC may benefit from radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Observational Study
Prognostic values and clinical relationship of TYK2 in laryngeal squamous cell cancer.
Laryngeal squamous cell cancer (LSCC) is the second most common head and neck cancer with the increasing mortality. The tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) has previously been reported to play an important role in various cancers excepting LSCC. We used available data from the cancer genome atlas program (TCGA), gene expression omnibus, and gene expression profiling interactive analysis (GEPIA) to evaluate the role of TYK2 in LSCC. ⋯ Gene set enrichment analysis shows that Janus kinases-STAT signaling pathway, p53 signalling pathway and natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity, etc are enriched in TYK2 high expression phenotype. Gene TYK2 may be a potential prognostic molecular marker for LSCC. Moreover, the Janus kinases-STAT signaling pathway and p53 signaling pathway are probably the key pathway associated with TYK2 in LC.
