Functional dyspepsia (FD) is a functional gastrointestinal disease that occurs without any explanatory organic disease, involving discomforts in upper abdomen such as bloating or pain after eating food. Although there is a standard treatment for FD, the disease often recurs or develops into a chronic condition, resulting in poor quality of life for the patients and high socioeconomic burden. Chuna therapy is a manual treatment commonly used in traditional Korean medicine (TKM) for musculoskeletal diseases such as intervertebral disc disorders and spinal stenosis. Recent studies have shown that Chuna therapy can be applied for the treatment of FD and is helpful in symptom improvement; however, high-quality evidence is still lacking. Therefore, this systematic review protocol intends to analyze the efficacy and safety of Chuna manual therapy for FD. ⋯ We will categorize various types of Chuna therapy for providing guidelines that can be applied reproducibly in clinical practice.

Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is one of the common complications of diabetes, the most crucial cause of end-stage renal disease, and a significant cause of death in diabetes patients. In recent years, Xuefu Zhuyu decoction has also been widely used in treating diabetic nephropathy. However, there need to be more systematic reviews that comprehensively describe the effectiveness and safety of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction in treating DKD. Therefore, we will conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the indicators of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction in the treatment of DKD to provide evidence-based support. ⋯ The results of this systematic review will provide an objective, evidence-based basis for judging the efficacy and safety of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction in treating DKD.

Migraine causes health problems in 1 billion people worldwide and imposes a huge social burden. Acupuncture therapy has a good clinical effect in migraine prophylaxis and is recommended by authoritative journals. We plan to conduct a Bayesian network meta-analysis to compare the efficacies of different acupuncture therapies. ⋯ This study aims to help clinicians develop an effective and safe treatment plan for migraine prophylaxis.

There is still controversy regarding the role of zinc and vitamin A supplementation in pediatric pneumonia. Therefore, we designed a systematic review and network meta-analysis to incorporate the available evidence to determine the role of vitamin A and zinc in pediatric pneumonia. ⋯ This Bayesian network meta-analysis will be conducted in accordance with the PRISMA extension statement, which is used to report systematic reviews that incorporated a meta-analysis of medical intervention networks.

Albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-PTX), a novel paclitaxel preparation, has been found to successfully blocks tumor progression in breast and lung cancer. However, at the same time of as clinical application, neurotoxicity caused by nab-PTX has become the main factor limiting the clinical application of nab-PTX, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients and increases their psychological or financial burden. In clinical applications, JHGWD combined with bloodletting therapy at the end of the extremities has a positive effect on neurotoxic symptoms such as numbness, pain, and weakness of the hands and feet caused by nab-PTX. In a single-arm experiment, it was also found that the immediate effective rate of exsanguination therapy was as high as 70%, and when combined with oral Chinese medicine treatment, it further improved the efficacy. Therefore, a randomized controlled trial (RCT) was designed to further evaluate the efficacy and safety of this treatment. ⋯ The results of this RCT will contribute to treating PIPN, relieving the neurotoxic symptoms, and improving the quality of life of patients. Finally, the RCT results will be published in a relevant academic journal on completion of the trial.
