Efficacy and safety of video laryngoscope in indwelling gastric tube in severe coma patients: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
We designed this systematic review and meta-analysis protocol to provide new medical evidence for clinical management by comparing the prognostic outcomes of visual laryngoscopy with those of conventional blinded insertion methods. ⋯ The results of our review will be reported strictly following the PRISMA criteria and the review will add to the existing literature by showing compelling evidence and improved guidance in clinic settings.

Keratoacanthoma (KA) is a fast-growing skin tumor with solitary KA being the most common type. KAs rarely metastasize and subside spontaneously. ⋯ Combined with histopathological examination, these findings help establish a diagnosis. By summarizing the imaging features of KA, this article aimed to improve radiologists' understanding of the disease and help in the clinical and differential diagnosis of KA.

To estimate the acute analgesic efficacy of combined Pregabalin and Celecoxib after operation via a systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ This work suggested that combined Pregabalin and Celecoxib were efficacious in reduction of postoperative pain and narcotic requirements after surgery, whereas more trials are needed to further identify the efficacy of combined Pregabalin and Celecoxib in the management of acute postoperative pain.

Cisplatin-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy is a standard of care for locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), and weekly and triweekly cisplatin are both alternative regimens based on the results of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. However, there is a lack of direct evidence on the efficacy and safety of weekly versus triweekly cisplatin concurrent with radiotherapy in NPC alone. This meta-analysis aimed to identify which regimen is more superior between weekly and triweekly cisplatin in patients with NPC treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy. ⋯ Weekly cisplatin resulted in similar survival benifit as triweekly cisplatin, but with higher hematological toxicity.

Alteplase associated Orolingual angioedema: A case report and literature review.
Orolingual angioedema (OA) is a rare but life-threatening complication of intravenous thrombolysis using alteplase. Angioedema can be caused by almost any medication. Administration of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator causes atypical angioedema. This study aimed to investigate factors related to and treatment of OA after thrombolysis with alteplase. ⋯ Before intravenous thrombolytic therapy, patients should be asked if they have a history of allergies, are currently using ACEI, and try to avoid using ACEI antihypertensive drugs before and after thrombolytic therapy.
