N6-methyladenosine (m6A) methylation has been reported to participate in inflammatory bowel disease (including Crohn disease [CD]). However, the prognostic and therapeutic implication of m6A methylation modification in CD is still unclear. ⋯ m6A methylation modification might affect disease risk, immune infiltration and therapeutic responses in CD. Evaluating the expression of m6A regulators might provide insight into the prediction of disease prognosis and therapeutic responses.

Regardless of unique status or symptoms, any woman with endometriosis is at risk of developing mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an effective psychological treatment for depression, anxiety, and stress. The objectives of the study were to see whether usual care combined with CBT improves depression, anxiety, and stress in patients after surgery for endometriosis as compared to usual care alone. ⋯ females with endometriosis who had surgery reported high levels of depression, anxiety, and stress at the time of hospital admission. Patients with endometriosis can benefit from CBT.

Pancreatic cancer (PC) is an inflammatory tumor. Tumor microenvironment (TME) plays an important role in the development of PC. This study aims to explore hub genes of TME and establish a prognostic prediction system for PC. ⋯ This prognostic risk score system based on TME demonstrated a good predictive capacity to the prognosis of PC. It may provide information for the treatment strategy and follow-up for patients with PC.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a complex autoimmune disorder. In patients with childhood SLE (cSLE), the onset of the disease occurs before 18 years of age and accounts for a high proportion of childhood autoimmune diseases. Adult SLE and cSLE differ in terms of clinical manifestations, gene expression profiles, and treatment. Because current diagnostic methods do not meet clinical requirements, researchers currently use transcriptome analysis to investigate the characteristics of the cSLE genome. In the present study, we used bioinformatics methods to genotype cSLE and identify potential therapeutic targets. ⋯ We divided patients with cSLE into three subgroups with different characteristics based on transcriptome data. Our findings provide molecular evidence for future diagnosis and individualized treatment of cSLE.

To construct a prognostic risk model of bladder cancer (BC) from the perspective of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and ferroptosis, in order to guide clinical prognosis and identify potential therapeutic targets. ⋯ The risk model based on the ferroptosis-related lncRNAs and the genomic clinico-pathological nomogram could be used to accurately predict the prognosis of patients with BC. The lncRNAs used to build this model might become potential therapeutic targets in the future.
