Clinical study of late-onset hemorrhagic cystitis after allo-HSCT without in vitro T-cell depletion.
This study is to investigate the hemorrhagic cystitis (HC) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) without in vitro T-cell depletion. Patients receiving allo-HSCT in 2019 were enrolled. The occurrence and clinical characteristics of HC after HLA-identical HSCT and haploidentical HSCT were retrospectively analyzed. ⋯ LOHC is positively correlated with urine BK virus. LOHC has no obvious effect on the overall PFS of patients. ADSC infusion has a good therapeutic effect on severe and prolonged LOHC.

Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasia constitute an important subentity of the gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms accounting for up to 15% of all neuroendocrine neoplasm. Prognosis and oncological behavior of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs) is extremely heterogenous and dependent on the specific tumor stage and differentiation. However, systematic data on the specific epidemiology of pNET are scarce. ⋯ Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasia are diagnosed in advanced tumor stages, globally. Systemic treatment was the most commonly used treatment modality. Such data may help to better understand the specific epidemiology of pNET worldwide.

Atopic eczema (AE) is a chronic relapsing dermatological disease characterized by pruritus, dryness, erythema, and lichenification. Acupuncture as an alternative treatment can relieve symptoms, reduce the recurrence, and improve the quality of life (QoL) with less adverse reactions in treating AE. This network meta-analysis (NMA) will comprehensively access the efficacy and safety of different acupuncture therapies for patients with AE, and rank the different acupuncture therapies, in order to present evidence-based medicine evidence for clinical application extensively. ⋯ PROSPERO CRD42020203437.

It is estimated that up to 90% of head and neck infections have an odontogenic origin, which are considered among the most common in the oral cavity and maxillofacial region. Bacterial resistance has been 1 of the main problems related to the treatment of this type of infection in recent years. The frequency of this resistance is increasing, which is mainly due to patient self-medication and the mutations that bacteria present. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the antimicrobial resistance of antibiotics commonly administered for the treatment of odontogenic infections. ⋯ The health professional is obliged to update their knowledge to avoid such antibiotic resistance and thus provide better patient care.

Aspirin, as an typical antiplatelet therapy for secondary stroke prevention, have been proved that can significantly reduce incidence and recurrence of cerebrovascular ischemic events. However, due to drugs biological characteristics, aspirin resistance (AR) often occurs in clinical practice, which significantly influence secondary prevention in stroke patients. The growing evidence of activating blood and removing stasis herbs medicine (Sanqi) for AR is promising. However, the efficacy and mechanism of Panax notoginseng (Sanqi) for AR in secondary stroke prevention has not been confirmed. ⋯ The present study aims to investigate short-term add-on efficacy and mechanism of Panax notoginseng (Sanqi) for aspirin resistance in secondary stroke prevention via TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway. With this, we expect to find out an appropriate partial substitute of aspirin for aspirin resistance individuals.
