Safeguarding children and adolescents from unintentional injuries is a significant concern for parents and caregivers. With them staying more at home during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, more educational tools and valid educational programs are warranted to improve parental knowledge and awareness about childhood and adolescences' safety. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of childhood and adolescence safety campaigns on parents' knowledge and attitude toward preventable injuries. ⋯ The educational childhood and adolescence safety campaign for caregivers in Saudi Arabia resulted in a significant increase in the overall knowledge and attitudes toward childhood and adolescence's safety. As children and adolescents are currently staying at home more, additional educational tools and programs are warranted to promote safe practices among parents and caregivers.

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are leading global causes of morbidity and mortality. In patients with both of these conditions, the presence of pulmonary hypertension (PH) can further worsen their prognosis. We examined the outcomes of AMI patients with COPD (AMI+COPD) and without COPD (AMI-COPD), depending on the presence or absence of PH. ⋯ After IPTW adjustment, these differences were statistically attenuated such that all variables were similar between both groups. PH may be associated with the development of new-onset HF (in all patients) and cardiogenic shock (in the AMI+COPD cohort). In addition, PH may be also associated with all-cause mortality, although it was statistically attenuated after IPTW adjustment.

Cervical cancer complicated by irreducible complete uterine prolapse in elderly patients is extremely rare. No standard treatment has been established for these conditions. ⋯ This study has important clinical implications and may provide a therapeutic strategy to address unmet medical needs in combination with locally advanced cervical cancer complicated by irreducible complete uterine prolapse. These conditions were successfully treated using a multidisciplinary approach of chemoradiotherapy followed by radical hysterectomy and uterosacral ligament suspension.

The presence of cholesterol crystals in the anterior chamber is extremely rare, and secondary glaucoma with cholesterol crystals in the anterior chamber, reported in the literature, is even rarer. This paper reports 3 cases of secondary glaucoma with cholesterol crystals in the anterior chamber. ⋯ Anterior chamber cholesterol crystallization is extremely rare and cannot be treated if it does not cause other lesions. However, glaucoma occurred in all 3 cases in this study, and intraocular pressure increased in 1 case after laser treatment and remained stable in 2 cases after surgical treatment. Therefore, the treatment plan for anterior chamber cholesterol crystallization in glaucoma requires further discussion.

With the spread of computers and mobile phones, cervical spondylosis has become a common occupational disease in clinics, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. We used a nonsurgical spinal decompression system (SDS) combined with physical therapy electroacupuncture (EA) to treat a case of mixed cervical spondylosis caused by multi-level cervical disc herniation, and we achieved satisfactory results. ⋯ SDS traction combined with EA is effective for the treatment of cervical disc herniation and can help restore and rebuild the biomechanical balance of the cervical spine.
