Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)-related comorbidities, including cardiovascular disease (CVD), osteoporosis (OP), and interstitial lung disease (ILD), are sub-optimally managed. RA-related comorbidities affect disease control and lead to impairment in quality of life. We aimed to develop consensus recommendations for managing RA-related comorbidities. ⋯ These consensus statements emphasize that adequate control of disease activity and the risk factors are needed for managing RA-related comorbidities, and may provide useful recommendations for rheumatologists on managing RA-related comorbidities.

Procedural analgesia with nitrous oxide at home for epidermolysis bullosa: A case report.
Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is an inherited disease characterized by fragile skin with painful blistering, which requires lifelong skin and wound care. This case report describes the use of inhaled nitrous oxide (N2O) for procedural pain control at home during wound care in a young man with severe dystrophic EB. To our knowledge, only 1 case was reported by Ingelmo et al in 2017 regarding the use of N2O at home in a 4-year-old-child. To date, no such attempt has been made in adult patients. ⋯ N2O analgesia is safe and effective, resulting in a significant reduction in procedural pain and an improvement in the quality of life of patients and their caregivers.

Stenosing tenosynovitis (STS) is a chronic aseptic inflammation caused by mechanical friction. The main clinical manifestations are local pain and limited activity of the affected parts, which reduce people's quality of life. The clinical effect of acupotomy in the treatment of STS is significant, and the operation is simple and the side effect is small. But there are many kinds of acupotomology, and there is a lack of comparative study between different Acupotomology. In this study, the effectiveness of 4 commonly used needle knife therapies (v-knife, oblique knife, crochet knife, flat knife) was ranked by the method of network meta. ⋯ Objective to provide evidence-based medicine evidence for clinical selection of the best needle knife treatment scheme for STS.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) are becoming common mental diseases in women impairing daily functioning. Estimation of the epidemiological burden of PMS/PMDD can serve as scientific basis for prevention and management of premenstrual disorders. Herein, we firstly provide a protocol to perform estimation on the prevalence and risk factors for PMS/PMDD in the general population globally and regionally. ⋯ INPLASY2021120065.
