Idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) is a syndrome that affects elderly people and is characterized by excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain ventricles. Diagnosis is based on the evaluation of clinical symptoms, which consists of a classic triad (Hakim triad), gait disturbances, cognitive impairment, and urinary incontinence. ⋯ Diagnostic criteria for NPH remain a topic of discussion; however, the development of diagnostic techniques has brought new opportunities for diagnosis. The aim of this review is to present an overview of neurophysiological and neuropsychological approaches to support the clinical evaluation of patients with NPH and contribute to the differential diagnosis of NPH and dementia, as the clinical symptoms of NPH may resemble other neurodegenerative disorders.

Female breast cancer is the most common cancer nowadays, and its treatment has a significant impact on patients both physically and psychologically. Endometrial carcinoma is classified as a gynecological cancer with high incidence. However, comparatively, only a small percentage of patients associated with it experience the condition progress to advanced disease or face recurring conditions. In the event where the condition progresses or recurs, the existing prognosis is poor and the most efficient form of treatment has not been established. Traditional methods to treat advanced endometrial carcinoma involves cytoreductive surgical intervention and radiation therapy, or chemotherapy, or a combination. Currently, there is controversy regarding the safest and most effective form of treatment. Therefore, the aim of conducting this protocol is to systematically review and provide meta-analyses on the curative effects of only using adjuvant chemotherapy to treat advanced endometrial carcinoma. ⋯ 10.17605/OSF.IO/JA48Q.

Neurogenic cervical spondylosis is the most common type of cervical spondylosis, accounting for approximately 60% percent of the incidence of cervical spondylosis. Cervical spine Long manipulation and sling exercise training (SET) have obtained good therapeutic results in clinical rehabilitation. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of Long manipulation combined with SET on neurogenic cervical spondylosis. ⋯ The visual analogue score, the Neck Disability Index score, and muscle fatigue in the bilateral upper oblique and Musculus sternocleidomastoideus, using mean power frequency and median frequency from the surface electromyography frequency domain index, will be assessed before and after the intervention at 0 and 4 weeks, respectively. Trial registration: Registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Registration Center with the number ChiCTR2100054978. Registered December 30, 2021.
