Prenatal bleeding is very dangerous for pregnant women with placenta previa during termination of pregnancy in the mid-trimester. Traditionally, cesarean section or hysterectomy is used to stop bleeding. This study aims to investigate the method for termination of mid-trimester pregnancy with placenta previa, especially emergency uterine artery embolization (UAE) combined with cervical double balloon (CDB). ⋯ The combined therapy of mifepristone and Misoprostol/Ethacridine Lactate was useful for termination of mid-trimester pregnancy with placenta previa, and attention needs to be attached to prenatal hemorrhage during labor induction. Emergency UAE + CDB is a good combination method to treat prenatal hemorrhage and promote cervical ripening during the induction.

Ferroptosis is the process of cell death dependent on iron. Growing evidence suggests that ferroptosis plays vital roles in the biological process of many cancers. However, just a small number of ferroptosis-related lncRNAs have been explored in depth. ⋯ Moreover, an independent factors-based nomogram model could offer the quantitative prediction and net benefit for the recurrence of BC patients. Finally, the microenvironment, including tumor mutational burden (TMB), immune cell functions and immune checkpoints, showed big differences between the 2 groups. The 5 ferroptosis-related lncRNAs and their signature might be novel promising biomarkers and immunotherapy targets for patients with BC.

There is insufficient evidence on SARS-CoV-2 induced neurological effects. Studies on CNS involvement during COVID-19 in children are limited. This study aims to identify and manage the neurological signs and symptoms in COVID-19-infected pediatric patients during follow up and plan future follow-ups. ⋯ Pulmonary and hematologic involvement was more common in children with anosmia and headache. Our study is one of the few studies on neurological involvement in COVID-19 in children. To the best of our knowledge, there is limited data on these subjects in the literature.

The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of self-reported food allergy among university students in China. A cluster-random sampling population-based cross-sectional study using self - administrated questionnaire was conducted with 2538 college students recruited from 6 universities in China. The questionnaire included data on age, sex, weight, height, FA, comorbid allergic diseases, family history, and understanding food allergy. ⋯ Family history, sun exposure, obesity, and using antibiotics may be the influencing factors of food allergy. The Chinese undergraduates lacked the knowledge about food allergy. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen the health education program on food allergy for college students in China and other middle high-income nations.

There are debates on the management of immature ovarian teratoma and its recurrence. This study aimed to report the incidence of pelvic masses after surgery for immature ovarian teratoma and to identify prognostic factors of disease-free survival after surgery, discussing aspects of primary treatment and postoperative management. Data on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with immature teratomas were collected. ⋯ The development of growing teratoma syndrome is more prevalent than relapse after treatment of immature ovarian teratomas. Lymph node dissection and chemotherapy are recommended to reduce recurrence. Close surveillance and active surgical intervention are important for the diagnosis and appropriate management of new pelvic masses.
