To evaluate the efficacy of nafamostat mesilate in the prevention of post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography pancreatitis (PEP) by conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ Preoperative use of nafamostat can effectively prevent PEP in patients with various risk stratification. Nafamostat can prevent mild and moderate PEP, but may not prevent severe PEP and PEHA. There should be more high-quality RCTs in future to strengthen the evidence of nafamostat in preventing PEP.

The optimal drug for treatment with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) was in debate. We did this network meta-analysis to assess the efficacy and safety of different drugs for reducing testosterone levels in women with PCOS. ⋯ Considering the network meta-analysis and rankings, atorvastatin was recommended to be the optimal drug for treatment PCOS. However, the optimal dose of atorvastatin was unknown and should be verified by more randomized controlled trials.

To systematically evaluate the correlation between serum osteocalcin levels and cognitive function status in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D) patients. ⋯ Based on a meta-analysis of included studies, we concluded that there is a moderately strong positive correlation between serum osteocalcin levels and patients' cognitive function in T2D. An intervention to increase serum osteocalcin levels can contribute to delaying and improving cognitive decline in patients with T2D.

To compare the effect of different noninvasive external therapies of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on the prevention of postpartum urinary retention (PUR) using a network meta-analysis (NMA). ⋯ Current evidence shows that acupoint compressing combined with auricular acupressure may be the best noninvasive TCM treatment for preventing PUR based on routine nursing; however, further high-quality clinical randomized controlled trials are needed for validation and support.

Comparative efficacy of Chinese herbal injections for treating endometrial carcinoma: A Bayesian network meta-analysis.
In view of the limitations of chemotherapy (CT) for endometrial carcinoma (EC) and the extensive use of Chinese herbal injections (CHIs), this network meta-analysis (NMA) compared the efficacy and safety of 6 CHIs combined with CT for EC. ⋯ Current evidence revealed that CHIs combined with CT have a better impact on patients with EC than CT alone. It's possible that KangAi, Aidi, and Eshuyou infusion are the best CHIs for EC. Additionally, more high-quality RCTs are required in order to further corroborate the findings due to NMA's limitations.
