Endometriosis is a common disease of reproductive-age women and an important cause of dysmenorrhea and infertility. Information on endometriosis is complex and there is a lack of summarization of available results. ⋯ The Web of Science Core Collection was searched for articles published in the field of endometriosis. Our survey revealed the structure, hotspots, and development trends of endometriosis-related research and publications.

Clinical study of low-frequency acupoint electrical stimulation to improve thumb-to-finger movements after stroke: A randomized controlled trial.
To examine the effect of low-frequency acupoint electrical stimulation (LFES) on the surface electromyographic (sEMG) signals of the thumb-to-finger movement muscles in stroke patients, and to evaluate the clinical efficacy of LFES on hand function recovery after stroke. ⋯ Both LFES and EA were effective in restoring thumb-to-finger movement function after stroke, as evidenced by the increased maximum value and root mean square values of the first dorsal interosseous muscle and the extensor pollicis brevis muscle, the decreased CSS score, the increased Brunnstrom motor function score, the decreased MAS classification, the increased Lindmark hand function score, and the increased Lovett muscle strength classification. However, LFES showed more obvious improvement and better efficacy than EA, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Effectiveness and safety of umbilical cord milking in premature infants: A randomized controlled trial.
Both UCM and DCC are used to treat preterm infants, but there is no uniform standard for the length of UCM. The aim of this work was to explore the effectiveness and safety of different umbilical cord milking (UCM) lengths versus delayed cord clamping (DCC). ⋯ A UCM of 20 or 30 cm is a safe, effective operation for preterm infants and could improve blood pressure and hemoglobin levels and reduce anemia.

Observational Study
ABO and Rhesus blood group markers as predictors in colorectal cancer: A prospective observational study.
Numerous research studies have investigated the relationship between ABO and Rhesus (Rh) blood groups and the risk of various cancers, yielding diverse findings. While these blood groups have been established as prognostic factors in some cancers, their relevance to colorectal cancer (CRC) remains uncertain. This research aims to determine the link between CRC and the ABO and Rh blood groups and explore any potential implications for disease survival. ⋯ On follow-up, there were no statistically significant differences in 3-year survival rates observed between ABO and Rh blood groups. This study's findings suggest that ABO and Rh blood groups are not associated with the risk of CRC or overall survival among CRC patients. Further clinical studies are needed to establish the precise relationship between blood groups and CRC risks, as well as their implications for the prognosis of CRC patients.

Multiple intracranial aneurysms are difficult to treat. In order to investigate the effect and safety of endovascular treatment for multiple intracranial aneurysms, 54 consecutive patients with 116 multiple intracranial aneurysms treated with endovascular embolization were retrospectively enrolled. Angiography was performed immediately after embolization and at each follow-up. ⋯ Among 50 completely occluded aneurysms, 38 (76%) aneurysms remained completely occluded, and 4 (8%) aneurysms recurred. Among 26 aneurysms with initial near-complete occlusion, 12 (46.2%) aneurysms with neck remnant had progressive thrombosis to complete occlusion, 2 (7.7%) had no change compared with immediate occlusion, and 5 (19.2%) regrew. In conclusion, endovascular embolization with intracranial stenting and coiling is safe and effective and may play an increasingly important role in the management of multiple intracranial aneurysms.
