Liver cancer has become an important public health problem. In this study, bibliometrics and visual analysis were performed on the literature related to the risk factors and prevention of liver cancer, in order to understand the latest research progress of the risk factors and prevention of liver cancer. The Web of Science database was used as a retrieval platform to retrieve the published research results from 2012 to 2023. ⋯ The United States and China are the countries with the most publications, while Harvard University, the National Institutes of Health and the University of Texas System are the 3 institutions with the most publications. Keywords such as hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, alcohol, obesity, recrudescence rate, global burden are hot words in the field of liver cancer risk factors and prevention. The current research mainly focuses on the influence of environmental factors, behavioral lifestyle and biological factors on liver cancer, as well as the primary and secondary prevention of liver cancer, but there are still many undetermined factors to be explored.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease characterized by chronic polyarticular pain, for which no cure currently exists. In Chinese medicine, rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is believed to be caused by phlegm and blood stagnation. Shentong Zhuyu decoction can be used to treat RA, as it promotes blood circulation, resolves blood stasis, and relieves pain. ⋯ Based on the close relationship between inflammatory response and osteoclast formation, we hypothesized that STZY may inhibit inflammation and alleviate bone destruction in RA. Our findings indicate that STZY can treat RA through multiple components, targets, and pathways. This study may provide a reference for the clinical application of STZY in RA treatment.

The search for alternatives to improve physical performance is rising, and in recent years has been focused on the brain. No bibliometric study analyzing research on physical activity (PA) and transcranial stimulation has been found in the scientific literature. Aims: To provide an overview of the existing scientific research on PA and transcranial brain stimulation in healthy and sports participants, using a bibliometric analysis and graphic mapping of the references in the field. To do this, we analyze annual publication trends in this area, identifying the most productive and cited authors, journals and countries with the highest number of publications, and the most cited documents and keywords. ⋯ There are extensive research networks throughout the world, with the USA leading the production. Publications on the issue are of high interest in the scientific community as an exponential increase in publications over the last few years was found. The contribution of these findings is to offer a complete picture of the relationship between PA and transcranial brain stimulation in healthy individuals and athletes. Therefore, this comprehensive analysis provides fruitful information for sports researchers and policymakers to make future correct decisions about how to better design and implement training interventions in these groups of individuals.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the subjectively perceived patient comfort during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations and to assess potential differences between a recently introduced low field MRI scanner and a standard MRI scanner. Among other characteristics, the low field MRI scanner differs from the standard MRI scanner by offering more space (wider bore size of 80 centimeter diameter) and producing less noise, which may influence the patient comfort. In total, 177 patients were surveyed after MRI scans with either the low field MRI scanner (n = 91, MAGNETOM Free. ⋯ Patients did not perceive any significant difference in terms of vertigo between both MRI scanners. The newly developed low field MRI scanner offers constructional differences compared to standard MRI scanners that are perceived positively by patients. Worth highlighting is the significantly lower noise level and the innovative bore diameter of 80 centimeter, which offers more space to the patients.

Currently, little knowledge about the survival of early-onset gastric cancer and little evidence about the difference of survival based on Lauren type has been reported. In order to investigate the difference, we conducted a retrospective study using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database and compared it comprehensively. SEER database was used to extracted patients and multiple imputation was utilized to fill blank data. ⋯ Multivariate competing risk regression model also showed diffused type was risk factor. We performed PSM by matching 1433 diffused EOGC with 1433 intestinal EOGC patients, finding patients with diffused type had a poorer survival. our results revealed that compared to diffused type EOGC, intestinal type was characterized by a better survival. EOGC should be attached more attention by clinicians.
