Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is an autoimmune disease with complex inflammatory mechanism. The aim of this study is to apply the methods of bibliometrics and knowledge mapping to analyze the research trends and hot spots of B cells intervention in inflammatory mechanism of AS. Global published articles on B-cells intervention in inflammatory mechanism of AS were retrieved from the Web of Science (WOS) database from 2004 to 2023. ⋯ Co-citation analysis reveals that research in this field is currently focused on "intergenic region" and "bone mineral density." Keyword analysis shows that the current research hotspots and trends in this field mainly focus on the cellular immune mechanism, humoral immune mechanism and clinical application value of B cells intervention in inflammatory mechanism of AS. In the past 20 years, the research on the mechanism of B cells intervention in AS inflammation has focused on B cells intervention in AS inflammation through humoral and cellular immune mechanisms. The future research focus may tend to use B cells as a new therapeutic target for AS.

Abnormalities in the mitochondrial energy metabolism pathways are closely related to the occurrence and development of many cancers. Furthermore, abnormal genes in mitochondrial energy metabolism pathways may be novel targets and biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of osteosarcoma. In this study, we aimed to establish a mitochondrial energy metabolism-related gene signature for osteosarcoma prognosis. ⋯ Our study identified an excellent gene signature that could be helpful in improving the prognosis of patients with osteosarcoma.

As per the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2013, magnesium sulfate is the gold standard for the management of preeclampsia, but it has a short action time that does not provide stable maintenance of blood pressure. Labetalol is currently recommended as first-line treatment by the national UK guidance. This study included 355 pregnant Han Chinese women with preeclampsia and aimed to compare outcomes following intravenous magnesium compared with intravenous labetalol and oral nifedipine. ⋯ More numbers of women were reduced blood pressure after 1 day of therapy from the LB cohort than those of the NF (75 [65%] vs 21 [15%]) and MS (75 [65%] vs 35 [34%]) cohorts (P < .0001 for both). Labetalol-induced tachycardia, bradycardia, and intracranial hemorrhage in pregnant women and respiratory distress syndrome and hypoglycemia in neonates. Intravenous labetalol provides proper reduction of blood pressure in Han Chinese women with preeclampsia but has the risk of undesirable maternal and neonatal adverse effects (Level of Evidence: IV; Technical Efficacy: Stage 4).

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common degenerative joint disease and is closely associated with chronic, low-grade inflammation. Regulating ferroptosis by targeting ferroptosis-related genes may be a fast and effective way to delay the degeneration of OA. However, the molecular mechanisms and gene targets related to ferroptosis in OA are still unclear. ⋯ Additionally, results of prognosis analysis indicated that JUN might be a promising therapeutic target for cancer. GABARAPL1, TNFAIP3, ARNTL, and JUN may be predicted biomarkers for OA. The feature genes and association between feature genes and immune infiltration may provide potential biomarkers for OA prediction along with the better assessment of the disease.

Atherosclerosis (AS) is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases and imposes a huge economic burden on society. Erchen decoction (ECD) is an effective formula for treating AS, but its therapeutic mechanism remains unclear. This study will explore the mechanism of ECD mechanism for treating AS using network pharmacology and molecular docking. ⋯ ECD has the characteristics of multi-components, multi-targets and multi-pathways in the treatment of AS. The results provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application of ECD and its mechanism.
