To determine the relevant laboratory values for hepatobiliary phase (HBP) imaging and predictive factors for suboptimal HBP images on gadoxetic acid-enhanced liver magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the evaluation of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with chronic liver disease (CLD). This study included 307 patients with CLD who underwent gadoxetic acid-enhanced liver MRI for HCC evaluation. The liver-portal vein contrast ratio and liver-spleen contrast ratio were calculated from the measurements of the HBP images. ⋯ On gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI for the evaluation of HCC in patients with CLD, suboptimal HBP images were most strongly correlated with serum direct bilirubin levels. Renal function was not associated with suboptimal HBP imaging. Although the sensitivity is low, suboptimal HBP images can be predicted before gadoxetic acid-enhanced liver MRI can be performed.

Breast cancer (BC) is the most commonly diagnosed malignancy in women around the world. Accumulating evidence suggests that transient receptor potential (TRP) channels play a significant role in tumor progression and immune cell infiltration. Hence, we conducted the study to investigate the correlation between TRP-associated lncRNAs and the prognosis of breast carcinoma. ⋯ The outcomes of the current study indicated that the 12-TRP-associated-lncRNA risk model was an independent prognostic risk factor for BC patients. This risk model could be closely related to the tumor immune microenvironment in BC. Our findings will provide new insights for future immunotherapy for BC treatment.

Food allergy (FA) is an increasing global public health concern. Little is known about FA counsel in primary care clinics. The objective of this study is to describe the characteristics of FA in primary care clinics. ⋯ The most common FA presentation is a severe allergic reaction in the pediatric population. The current primary care physicians have insufficient knowledge about counseling FA and long for further training. Collectively, protocols and training for FA counseling should be launched in primary care.

Atherosclerosis (AS) is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases and imposes a huge economic burden on society. Erchen decoction (ECD) is an effective formula for treating AS, but its therapeutic mechanism remains unclear. This study will explore the mechanism of ECD mechanism for treating AS using network pharmacology and molecular docking. ⋯ ECD has the characteristics of multi-components, multi-targets and multi-pathways in the treatment of AS. The results provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application of ECD and its mechanism.

This study aimed to investigate CCNB1, CENPF, and Neutrophils as diagnostic predictors of lung cancer and to explore their association with clinical prognosis. Clinical data were obtained for a total of 52 patients. In addition, we downloaded 555 lung cancer-related samples from the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) database. ⋯ Further studies confirmed that CCNB1 and CENPF are overexpressed in lung cancer tissues. The clinically constructed model with high accuracy based on CCNB1, CENPF, and neutrophils demonstrated that these are crucial indicators for lung cancer diagnosis. High expression of CCNB1 and CENPF indicates a poor prognosis in patients with lung cancer.
