Huangbaichen Sanwei formulation (HBCS) has been reported to have a good hypoglycemic effect, but its pharmacological mechanism of action remains unclear. We used network pharmacology and molecular docking to explore the potential mechanism of action of HBCS against type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Fifty-five active components from HBCS interfered with T2DM. ⋯ And the enrichment of signaling pathways was explored by employing the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) database. Cytoscape 3.9.1 was employed to construct a "TCM-components-core target-pathway" network. Autodock Vina was used to dock molecules to compare the binding activity of active molecules with targets.

Rare primary pulmonary mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma misdiagnosed with tuberculosis: A case report.
Primary pulmonary mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma (MALToma) is a rare subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma with a relatively low incidence rate clinically. Atypical clinical symptoms and nonspecific chest computed tomography features of the disease make it difficult to determine and treatment is delayed. We discuss the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with primary pulmonary MALToma to raise clinicians' awareness of this condition. ⋯ Diagnosis of primary pulmonary MALToma mainly relies on histopathological examination, and comprehensive laboratory examinations are also necessary. Clinicians should combine laboratory tests (such as immunofixation electrophoresis in our case) to assist in medical diagnosis in cases of atypical clinical manifestations and imaging characteristics. Immunotherapy appears to be the main treatment protocol for advanced patients.

Klipple-Trenaunary Syndrome (KTS) complicated by frequent cellulitis of lower extremity seriously affects a patient quality of life. The hemodynamic characteristics of the disease are still unclear. Direct skin incision or puncture to remove malformed veins at the lesion site carries the risk of non-healing of the surgical incision. Our aim is to explore initial management strategies based on the hemodynamic characteristics of this disease. ⋯ This report emphasizes that foam sclerotherapy can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of KTS, such as cellulitis, and provide a safe skin environment for the implementation of other surgical methods, based on the evaluation of the pathological characteristics of KTS by DUS combined with CTV.

Fiberoptic bronchoscopy combined with urokinase therapy for the treatment of fatal massive hemoptysis: A case report.
Fatal massive hemoptysis is a life-threatening emergency in the respiratory system. Currently, the treatment methods and techniques for massive hemoptysis are still limited, and there are often issues of delayed treatment or improper methods in clinical practice, leading to the difficulty of rescuing patients and high mortality rates. When fatal massive hemoptysis occurs, the key to successful treatment lies in whether intrapulmonary blood clots can be effectively cleared and airway patency can be ensured. Our practice of combining fiberoptic bronchoscopy with urokinase treatment to clear intrapulmonary blood clots after fatal massive hemoptysis demonstrates the effectiveness of this method. ⋯ Fatal massive hemoptysis is a intractable emergency in clinical practice. In this case, we confirmed that fiberoptic bronchoscopy combined with urokinase therapy may be effective and safe in the treatment of fatal massive hemoptysis.

This study aimed to investigate the angelica sinensis - radix rehmanniae (AR) role in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), employing network pharmacology and molecular docking techniques for active ingredient, targets, and pathway prediction. AR active components were obtained through TCMSP platform and literature search. The related targets of AR and PCOS were obtained through the disease and Swiss Target Prediction databases. ⋯ AR can improve hyperandrogen status, regulate glucose homeostasis, and correct lipid metabolism and other physiological processes through multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway. Thus, it could play a significant role in PCOS treatment. The results of our study provide a scientific foundation for basic research and clinical applications of AR for the treatment of PCOS.
