To investigate and analyze changes in the expression level and clinicopathological significance of miR-193b-3p in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In the present study, Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO), Targetscan, starBase, and Metastases databases were retrieved for bioinformatics analysis. qRT-PCR was conducted to determine the expression level of miR-193b-3p in the serum or tissues of NSCLC patients. The correlation between the expression level of serum miR-193b-3p and the clinical characteristics of NSCLC patients was analyzed, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were analyzed to assess the diagnostic significance of serum expression of miR-193b-3p in NSCLC. ⋯ The high miR-193b-3p expression group had a lower degree of cancer differentiation, a higher proportion of late TNM stage, and a greater incidence of lymph node metastasis. ROC curve analysis reported that the area under the curve was 0.89 (95% CI: 0.85-0.92). High miR-193b-3p expression levels were detected in NSCLC patients and were closely correlated with the degree of malignancy in NSCLC. miR-193b-3p expression levels have a diagnostic effect on NSCLC.

Panvascular diseases are a group of vascular system diseases, mainly including the heart, brain, neck, and other parts of the vascular lesions. As a non-pharmacological intervention, exercise therapy could prevent and treat Panvascular diseases. However, few bibliometric analyses of exercise therapy in Panvascular disease exist. ⋯ In conclusion, exploring exercise therapy programs and exercise mechanisms for Panvascular diseases has been ongoing. This study revealed the current status and trends of research in the field and identified hot topics. It was helpful for scholars to understand exercise therapy critical role in treating and preventing Panvascular diseases and provided a reference for clinical decision-making and further research.

To investigate the predictive value of T2 star-weighted angiography (SWAN) combined with 3-dimensional (3D) arterial spin labeling (3D-ASL) to assess cerebral perfusion status and clinical prognosis in chronic unilateral middle cerebral artery (MCA) M1 occlusion. This study included 55 patients diagnosed with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion using 3D time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography between January 2018 and July 2022. Based on the prominent vessel sign (PVS) shown in the SWAN sequence, the patients were divided into PVS-positive (n = 26) and PVS-negative (n = 29) groups. ⋯ Furthermore, the CBF values of the affected frontal, parietal, and temporal lobes were significantly lower in the ischemic cerebrovascular event group than in the non-ischemic cerebrovascular event group (P < .05). According to the receiver operating characteristic curve, the CBF values of the affected frontal, parietal, and temporal lobes in patients with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion strongly correlated with ischemic cerebrovascular disease within 12 months. PVS-negative display and good collateral circulation were closely related to clinical prognosis in patients with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion.

Glypican-3 (GPC3), a membrane-bound heparan sulfate proteoglycan, has long been found to be dysregulated in human lung adenocarcinomas (LUADs). Nevertheless, the function, mutational profile, epigenetic regulation, co-expression profile, and clinicopathological significance of the GPC3 gene in LUAD progression are not well understood. In this study, we analyzed cancer microarray datasets from publicly available databases using bioinformatics tools to elucidate the above parameters. ⋯ We also found 11 TFs and 7 miRNAs interacting with GPC3 and contributing to disease progression. Finally, we identified 3 potential inhibitors of GPC3 in human LUAD, namely heparitin, gemcitabine and arbutin. In conclusion, GPC3 may play an important role in the development of LUAD and could serve as a promising biomarker in LUAD.
