3D printing in the endovascular treatment of visceral artery aneurysms.
Visceral artery aneurysms (VAAs) are vascular pathologies that are difficult to treat. The variable geometry of the vessels and the location of aneurysms render difficult their evaluation in radiological imaging studies. Less invasive endovascular procedures are increasingly used in common practice. ⋯ We analyzed the fused filament fabrication method of 3D printing and printable materials in the preparation of spatial vascular models. We confirmed that more accurate visualization and analysis of vascular anatomy could assist operators in attempting minimally invasive treatment with good results. Extending imaging studies using 3D printing models that allow for the assessment of the position, morphology and geometry of the aneurysm sac, particularly of vessel branches, could encourage surgeons to perform endovascular procedures.

FLAIR-hyperintense lesions in anti-myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG)-associated encephalitis with seizures (FLAMES) is a rare clinical phenotype of anti-MOG; immunoglobulin G-associated disease is often misdiagnosed as viral encephalitis in the early stages. Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis is an autoimmune encephalitis caused by antibodies targeting the GluN1 subunit of the NMDAR. The coexistence of anti-NMDAR encephalitis and FLAMES is very rare. ⋯ When a patient with anti-NMDAR encephalitis or FLAMES is encountered in clinical practice, the coexistence of these diseases with double-positive anti-NMDAR and MOG antibodies should be considered and adopt appropriate evaluation and treatment.

Given the lingering threat of COVID infection, questions are being raised if coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine needs annual or regular boosters to maintain high levels of immunity against both the original virus and variants. This study was designed to evaluate the knowledge, acceptance, motivators and barriers of the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine among the dental patients of District Lucknow, India. A total of 297 respondents were selected by a convenience sampling method in this cross-sectional study from various dental clinics. ⋯ Nearly 18.2% of respondents had hesitation about booster dose and less than one third of the respondents trusted a government source for information about booster dose of COVID vaccine. Nearly 36 % did not know that the booster dose of COVID vaccine is available at health centers. Dental health professionals and policymakers should implement and support strategies to ensure people are vaccinated for COVID-19 booster doses.

Uterine torsion with degeneration and infarction of giant leiomyoma in a postmenopausal woman: A case report.
Uterine torsion and giant leiomyoma are both rare diseases. Uterine torsion combined with giant leiomyoma with degeneration or infarction is easy to be misdiagnosed. We wrote this case to increase the accuracy and timeliness of medical staff's diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids combined with uterine torsion. ⋯ Although uterine torsion is extremely rare, early diagnosis and treatment are essential to prevent serious complications.

The relationship between neuropathic pain and the outcomes of minimally invasive pain management in rotator cuff ruptures.
This study aimed to investigate how the presence of neuropathic pain related to partial rotator cuff tears affects the short-term results of subacromial injection and suprascapular nerve blockade therapy in patients with chronic shoulder pain. In this prospective observational study, shoulder pain via verbal numeric pain rating (VNPR, 0-10) and functional status through simple shoulder test (SST) were evaluated before and second week after procedure. After dividing as neuropathic pain and non-neuropathic pain groups, pre-procedural and follow-up scores concerning pain intensity, functional status, and whether there were those of patients with minimal clinically important change (MCIC) in areas of pain and function were evaluated. ⋯ An improvement was determined in pain intensity and functional status at the follow-up in both groups (P < .001). The improvement in pain intensity and functional status is poorer in patients with partial rotator cuff rupture-related neuropathic pain than in those without neuropathic pain. However neuropathic pain has no negative effect on the response to treatment.
