We have obtained 663 valid responses from male and female boxers. In the questionnaire survey who was carried out on a Web questionnaire form. ⋯ And, KO experience group was compared with non-KO experience group, and the factors influencing the number of severity symptoms were examined. As a result, 2 factors were selected what "Seriousness in practice" and "Fighting spirit in games". It might be possible that the relation between the experience of being KO and self-assessment of boxing performance.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of biochemical blood parameters on the progression of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This retrospective study analyzed the clinical characteristics and biochemical test parameters of 352 COVID-19 patients treated at Malatya Training and Research Hospital in Turkey between March 3, 2021, and February 28, 2022. ⋯ This study demonstrates the importance of monitoring and analyzing biochemical blood values as essential tools for assessing the severity and progression of COVID-19. The identified markers provide valuable information regarding the prognosis of the disease and may help healthcare professionals make informed decisions regarding patient care.

Idiopathic granulomatous mastitis is a benign, inflammatory disease of breasts characterized by non-caseating granulomas. Our study aims to identify distinguishing clinical and histopathological features of relapsing disease compared to those in complete remission. We queried databases at our institution (1990-2021) to include females ≥18 years with biopsy-proven diagnosis of idiopathic granulomatous mastitis, excluding patients with breast cancer, lymphoproliferative disorders, solid organ malignancy, foreign body reaction in breast, plasma cell mastitis, and ductal ectasia. ⋯ Three (33%) patients with relapse and 14 (77%) with remission, had abscess formation confirmed on histopathology (P = .04). Patients with remission had a higher number of abscesses on histopathology and history of oral contraceptive use was associated with more relapse. By identifying key clinical and histopathological findings in this population may guide prognosis and treatment of these patients.

In order to investigate the potential link between Alzheimer's disease (AD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD), we conducted a comprehensive analysis using a bioinformatics approach. We downloaded AD and CKD datasets from the Gene Expression Omnibus database and analyzed differentially expressed genes and weighted gene co-expression networks to identify candidate genes for AD and CKD. We used a combination of the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator and random forest algorithms to select the shared genes. ⋯ Our scRNA-sequencing data showed that the 3 shared genes in AD were significantly expressed in astrocytes, excitatory neurons, oligodendrocytes, and MAIT cells. The 3 shared genes in CKD were significantly expressed in oligodendrocytes, neutrophils, fibroblasts, astrocytes, and T-cells. JunD Proto-Oncogene, ALF transcription elongation factor 1, and ZFP36 Ring Finger Protein Like 1 genes are the best diagnostic markers for AD and CKD.
