Review Case Reports
Extensive heterotopic pancreas in a rare site: A case report and a review of literature.
Heterotopic pancreas is a pancreatic tissue that occurs outside the normal anatomical site, the most common site is antrum. Due to the lack of specific imaging and endoscopic signs, heterotopic pancreas especially those occurring in the rare site, are often misdiagnosed, and leading to unnecessary surgical treatment. Endoscopic incisional biopsy and endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration are effective means for diagnosing heterotopic pancreas. We reports a case of extensive heterotopic pancreas in a rare site, which was finally diagnosed by this way. ⋯ Heterotopic pancreas occurring in the angular notch is extremely rare, the site is scarcely reported in the relevant literature. Therefore, it is easy to be misdiagnosed. In the cases of an vague diagnosis, endoscopic incisional biopsy or endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration may be a good choice.

Review Case Reports
Case report and literature review on a large MBC with ulceration.
Metaplastic breast cancer (MBC) is a rare tumor of the breast, and skin ulceration of breast tumors is a difficult clinical problem that reduces the patient's quality of life. ⋯ This suggests that traditional Chinese medicine may have a good auxiliary therapeutic effect on the skin ulceration of MBC.

Performance evaluation of a novel 14C-urea breath test (solid scintillation) for the diagnosis of helicobacter pylori infection.
14C-urea breath tests (UBTs) can be used to diagnose helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of a solid scintillation 14C-UBT in diagnosing H pylori infection. This open-label, prospective multicenter study enrolled patients who underwent H pylori screening from January 7, 2020, to October 28, 2020, in 3 centers in China. ⋯ One participant experienced 1 adverse event (AE) (exacerbation of chronic cholecystitis), and the AE eventually improved by itself. The investigators determined that the AE was unrelated to the study device. The noninvasive solid scintillation 14C-UBT has a high diagnostic value for H pylori infection, comparable to the diagnostic value of the gold standard.

Trigeminal neuralgia is a recurrent unilateral transient electroshock-like pain. Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN), used to treat the musculoskeletal problems, has not been reported in this field. ⋯ This case report suggested that FSN can relieve postsurgical trigeminal neuralgia safely and effectively. Clinical randomized controlled studies are needed to be further conducted.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC) is a malignant tumor arising from hepatocytes or intrahepatic bile duct epithelial cells, which is one of the common malignancies worldwide. Better identification of liver cancer biomarkers has become one of the current challenges. Although hypoxia inducible lipid droplet associated (HILPDA) has been reported to be associated with tumor progression in a variety of human solid cancers, it has rarely been reported in the field of hepatocellular carcinoma; therefore, in this paper, RNA sequencing data from TCGA were used to analyze the expression of HILPDA and differentially expressed genes (DEGs). ⋯ Cox regression analysis showed high HILPDA to be an independent prognostic factor; age and cytogenetic risk were included in the nomogram prognostic model. A total of 1294 DEGs were identified between the high and low expression groups, of which 1169 had upregulated gene expression and 125 had downregulated gene expression. Overall, high expression of HILPDA is a potential biomarker for poor outcome in LIHC.
