This study aimed to systematically evaluate the value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance arthrography (MRA) in the diagnosis of acetabular labral tears. ⋯ MRI has high diagnostic efficacy for acetabular labral tears, and MRA has even higher diagnostic efficacy. Due to the limited quality and quantity of the included studies, the above results should be further validated.

Effect on music therapy on quality of recovery and postoperative pain after gynecological laparoscopy.
Music therapy is safe, inexpensive, simple, and has relaxing properties for mental and physical capacities, as well as few side effects. Moreover, it improves patient satisfaction and reduces postoperative pain. Thus, we intended to evaluate the effect of music intervention on the quality of comprehensive recovery using quality of recovery 40 (QoR-40) survey in patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery. ⋯ Intraoperative music intervention enhanced postoperative functional recovery and reduced postoperative pain in patients who underwent laparoscopic gynecological surgery.

Phase I cardiac rehabilitation with 5-phase music after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention for acute myocardial infarction: A prospective randomized study.
Five-phase music therapy was reported to be effective in the treatment and rehabilitation of several diseases. This study explored the effect of phase I cardiac rehabilitation combined with 5-phase music in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention. ⋯ Phase I cardiac rehabilitation combined with 5-phase music could alleviate anxiety and depression and improve sleep quality.

Cardiac surgery using cardiopulmonary bypass has been shown to cause reversible postischemic cardiac dysfunction and is associated with reperfusion injury and myocardial cell death. Therefore, it is very important to have a series of measures in place to reduce oxygen consumption and provide myocardial protection. We performed a protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the effect of dexmedetomidine administration on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass. ⋯ This meta-analysis will evaluate the efficacy and safety of dexmedetomidine in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass.

Intubation with videolaryngoscopy has become popular in various clinical settings. However, despite the use of a videolaryngoscope, difficult intubation still exists and intubation failure has been reported. This retrospective study assessed the efficacy of the 2 maneuvers in improving the glottic view during videolaryngoscopic intubation. ⋯ There were significant differences in the distribution of POGO grades according to the application of BURP and epiglottis lifting maneuvers. In the POGO grades 3 and 4 subgroups, the epiglottis lifting maneuver was more effective than the BURP maneuver in improving the POGO score Inadequate visualization of the vocal folds occurred even when intubation was performed using a videolaryngoscope. The application of optimization maneuvers, such as BURP and epiglottis lifting by the blade tip, could improve the glottic view.
