Meta Analysis
Prognostic value of pretreatment skeletal muscle index in pancreatic carcinoma patients: A meta-analysis.
The association between pretreatment skeletal muscle index (SMI) and long-term survival of pancreatic carcinoma patients remains unclear up to now. ⋯ Pretreatment SMI could serve as a promising and reliable prognostic factor for pancreatic carcinoma patients and lower pretreatment SMI predicted worse prognosis.

Review Case Reports
Testosterone elevation in ovarian adult granulosa cell tumor: A case report and review of the literature.
Adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCT) mainly secret estrogen, but few androgens. It is rarer to have amenorrhea and hyperandrogenemia as clinical features. Here, we report a rare case of right side AGCTs with amenorrhea and hyperandrogenemia in a 19-year-old female. ⋯ Androgen-secreting AGCT is rare. We hope that this case can strengthen gynecologists' early diagnosis and treatment of this disease and improve the prognosis.

We aimed to report the incidence and severity of nonionic low-osmolar iodine contrast medium (ICM)-related adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in the Republic of Korea, by analyzing data from our single tertiary institution and published Korean reports, and to determine whether there is a difference in the incidence of ICM-related ADR by ICM generics. A total of 1,161,419 consecutive contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) examinations between January 2016 and December 2021 at Asan Medical Center were included. A systematic search of the literature investigating the incidence of ICM-related ADR in the Republic of Korea published up to December 31, 2021 was performed. ⋯ For moderate and severe ADRs, there were no significant differences in ADR incidence between ICM generics. The incidence of moderate and severe ICM-related ADRs did not differ among ICM generics. Our results suggest that no restriction is required for selection among nonionic low-osmolar ICMs.

Observational Study
Anxiety and depression in patients with inactive inflammatory bowel disease: The role of fatigue and health-related quality of life.
Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are chronic conditions characterized by a remitting-relapsing course. Patients with IBD have an impaired quality of life and are more often affected by anxiety and depression. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence and severity of anxiety and depression in patients with inactive IBD, and to identify factors associated with them. ⋯ In conclusion, anxiety and depression are highly prevalent in patients with IBD even during the periods of remission. Both anxiety and depression are associated with fatigue. In addition, lower HR-QoL is associated with anxiety and exposure to multiple biologics with depression.

Elderly patients with acute syndrome are frailer due to the burden of comorbidity. Comorbidities that increase with age result in an increased risk of mortality in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Many scales have been developed to assess the burden of comorbidity, including the Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI). ⋯ The mortality rate of the CCI ≥ 2 group was significantly higher than those of the other 2 groups (P < .001). The multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression model showed that CCI was an independent predictor for 1-year all-cause mortality (hazard ratio: 1.632; 95% confidence interval: 1.403-1.898; P < .001). CCI may contribute to treatment and follow-up management, as it indicates a poor prognosis in elderly patients who have undergone percutaneous coronary intervention.
