EGFR-TKI (tyrosine kinase inhibitor) monotherapy has become the first-line treatment option for patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Prolonging the survival time, improving the progression-free survival of front-line treatment, and delaying the occurrence of drug resistance. At present, combination therapy is being widely used. Evaluate the therapeutic effect of TKI joint and Osimertinib drug therapy for positive patients with gene positive. ⋯ Osimertinib has the lowest side effects and provides better PFS first-line treatment in advanced EGFR-mutated NSCLC.GCP is the best regimen for OS, but its toxicity limits its application, and it may be the first choice for patients with higher survival requirements.

Expression of miR-223-3p in patients with hepatitis B virus liver fibrosis and its effect on hepatic stellate cells: An observational study.
To analyze miR-223-3p expression in patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV) live fibrosis and its effects on proliferation, activation, and apoptosis of human hepatic stellate cell line. One hundred patients with HBV-associated liver fibrosis were divided into S0 to 1, S2 to 3, and S4 groups according to Scheuer histological staging; healthy individuals during the same period were enrolled as healthy group. Relative expressions of miR-223-3p in healthy, S0 to 1, S2 to 3, and S4 groups were 0.56 ± 0.11, 1.08 ± 0.27, 2.16 ± 0.42, and 3.59 ± 1.06, respectively. ⋯ Protein expressions of α-smooth muscle actin, transforming growth factor-β1, collagen I, collagen III, p-Smad3, p-Smad2, and B-cell lymphoma 2 were higher in miR-223-3p-mimic group than in CG and NC-mimic groups and lower in miR-223-3p-inhibitor group than in CG and NC-inhibitor group, whereas those of B-cell lymphoma 2-associated death promoter, B-cell lymphoma 2 associated X protein, cleaved caspase3, cleaved caspase9, poly ADP-ribose polymerase were lower in miR-223-3p-mimic group than in CG and NC-mimic group and higher in miR-223-3p-inhibitor group than in CG and NC-inhibitor group (P < .05). HBV liver fibrosis patients had elevated expression of miR-223-3p in plasma. Upregulation of miR-223-3p expression may be related to transforming growth factor-β1/Smad signaling pathway activation.

Stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) is a highly aggressive and extremely heterogeneous gastric cancer characterized by high morbidity and mortality. Cuproptosis, a copper (Cu)-triggered modality of mitochondrial cell death, could regulate tumor proliferation and metastasis. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator cox regression analysis was constructed to develop a prognostic cuproptosis-related signature. ⋯ We also identified a lncRNA MALAT1/miR-328-3p/FDX1 regulatory axis for STAD. Multi-omics approaches were performed to develop a cuproptosis-related signature with 2 genes (FDX1 and MTF1) for STAD. We also identified a lncRNA MALAT1/miR-328-3p/FDX1 regulatory axis for STAD.

Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a cause of hip pain and early joint lesion in patient. The hip-preserving treatments are especially important for patients in early stage of ONFH. However, it is controversial of the effectiveness and safety of bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMNCs) in the treatment of ONFH. The aim of the study was to explore the mid- and long-term efficacy (particularly the rate of total hip arthroplasty [THA]) with BMMNCs in treatment of ONFH. ⋯ Current evidence supports that BMMNCs therapy could reduce the mid- and long-term rate of THA, improve hip function, alleviated the degree of hip pain, delay the progression of imaging staging and not increase the rate of complication, which maybe serve as a preferred option for treating ONFH.

Sacituzumab govitecan (SG) is an antibody-drug conjugate that targets the human trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 to deliver SN-38 to cancer cells. In this study, we assessed the efficacy and safety of SG in patients with relapsed or refractory metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (RM-TNBC). ⋯ SG was associated with effectiveness in patients with RM-TNBC. Myelosuppression and diarrhea were the primary treatment-related adverse events.
