Kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP) is a common urinary tumor that causes lymph node invasion. Once metastatic, the prognosis is poor and there is a lack of effective early diagnostic markers for this tumor. The expression of CCNB1 in KIRP tumor tissues was significantly higher than that in normal tissues in The Cancer Genome Atlas database with or without the genotype-tissue expression database, and a consistent result was obtained in 32 paired tissues. ⋯ Finally, drug sensitivity analysis combined with molecular docking identified 5 targeting drugs with the strongest binding activity to CCNB1. CCNB1 is a potential and reliable biomarker for KIRP diagnosis and can be used to predict the survival of patients with KIRP. The 5 selected drugs targeting CCNB1 may provide new hopes for patients with KIRP metastasis.

Early respiratory interventional therapy combined with antifungal agent for endobronchial cryptococcosis: A case report and literature review.
Cryptococcosis presenting as endobronchial obstruction and lung collapse is an extremely rare occurrence. While these patients were treated with antifungal agents, unfortunately, half of them showed a suboptimal response. ⋯ This case provides a good example of successful utilization of the early respiratory interventional therapy combined with antifungal agent in obstructive endobronchial cryptococcosis.

A case of deep neck abscess treated with a disposable VSD wound care device: Case report and review of literature.
Vacuum sealing drainage is a novel technique for wound treatment that is characterized by adequate drainage and promotes wound healing. We report a case in which negative pressure sealing drainage was applied to treat a deep cervical abscess and achieved a good therapeutic effect. ⋯ This proves that the negative pressure closed drainage technique has potential in the treatment of deep neck abscesses and is also an effective choice in promoting wound healing, which is expected to bring better therapeutic effects to patients treated for deep neck abscesses.

Iatrogenic aortic dissection (IAD) is a rare but highly lethal complication that may occur following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery. Aortic dissection (AD) is often asymptomatic, making early detection difficult. We aimed to optimize preoperative evaluation strategies of CABG surgery for minimizing the incidence of IAD and assess early recognition and management of IAD for improving outcomes. ⋯ Our study focused on patients with IAD and developed a recommended management protocol for patients undergoing CABG surgery.

Autoimmune hemolytic anemia and thrombocytopenia in a Chinese patient with heterozygous NBAS mutations: Case report.
Neuroblastoma amplified sequence (NBAS)-associated disease is an autosomal recessive disorder and a broad spectrum of clinical symptoms has been reported. However, autoimmune mediated hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is rarely reported in NBAS disease. ⋯ The phenotype of this case indicates that c.335 + 1G>A NBAS variant is probably a pathogenic one and c.2356C>T ANKRD26 variant is improbably a pathogenic one. AIHA may respond well to steroid even when happened in patients with NBAS disease.
