To explore the effect of probiotics combined with budesonide and ipratropium bromide in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) on lung function and gut microbiota. This was a retrospective study of prospectively collected clinical data of 118 patients with COPD admitted to our hospital between January 2020 and December 2022. According to the treatment records, 59 patients received budesonide and irpratropium bromide (control group), and 59 patients received probiotics combined with budesonide and irpratropium bromide (observation group). ⋯ After treatment, the levels of serum MMP-9, VEGF, basic fibroblast growth factor, and NGF in the 2 groups were lower than before treatment, and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < .05). After treatment, the levels of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria in the 2 groups increased compared to those before treatment, and the observation group had a higher level, while the levels of Enterobacteriaceae and Enterococcus were lower in the observation group than those before treatment (P < .05). Based on budesonide and irpratropium bromide, probiotic treatment of COPD is more conducive to reducing the degree of inflammatory reactions, inhibiting airway remodeling, regulating the level of gut microbiota, and promoting the recovery of lung function.

To evaluate the impact of a refined human resources salary system on job transfer and transfer tendency. From January 2019 to December 2019, a refined human resources salary system reform was implemented at the Tangshan Workers' Hospital in Hebei Province, and the job transfer and transfer tendency of clinical nurses was assessed using the nurse job transfer tendency scale before and 1 year after the intervention. A total of 640 nurses completed the intervention and evaluation. ⋯ The total score of clinical nurse job transfer tendency was (10.80 ± 3.23) before the intervention and (9.66 ± 3.58) after 1 year of intervention, which was substantially lower (P < .001). The satisfaction scores of nurses on performance-based salary increased significantly from (67.83 ± 18.54) before the intervention to (80.66 ± 15.87) after intervention, with varying degrees of increase observed in each dimension (P < .001). The refined human resources salary system effectively reduced job transfer and transfer tendency of clinical nurses in hospital nursing management, and can be widely promoted and applied.

The Kinesin Family Member C1 (KIFC1) is highly expressed in a variety of tumors. Since it is linked with tumorigenesis and progression, KIFC1 has emerged as a promising candidate for targeted chemotherapies. Thus, this study aims to find out the association between KIFC1 and lung cancer. ⋯ Based on real-world cohort results, western blotting and RT-qPCR showed high-KIFC1 expression in lung cancer, which may be related to the malignancy of lung cancer. Finally, experiments in vitro showed that KIFC1 inhibitor could significantly inhibit the proliferation and invasion of lung cancer cells. In conclusion, KIFC1 is a poor prognostic biomarker, and patients with high-KIFC1 levels may benefit from targeted therapy.

To investigate the mechanism of action of Banxia-Shengjiang drug pair on the inhibition of gastric cancer (GC) using network pharmacology and bioinformatics techniques. The action targets of the Banxia (Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Makino) -Shengjiang (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) drug pair obtained from the TCMSP database were intersected with differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and GC-related genes, and the intersected genes were analyzed for pathway enrichment to identify the signaling pathways and core target genes. Subsequently, the core target genes were analyzed for clinical relevance gene mutation analysis, methylation analysis, immune infiltration analysis and immune cell analysis. ⋯ The results of single nucleotide variation (SNV) and copy number variation (CNV) indicated that mutations in the hub genes were associated with the survival of gastric cancer patients. Finally, the PPI network and molecular docking results showed that PTGS2 and MMP9 were potentially important targets for the inhibition of GC by Banxia-Shengjiang drug pair, while cavidine was an important active ingredient for the inhibition of GC by Banxia-Shengjiang drug pair. Banxia-Shengjiang drug pair may regulate the immune function and inhibit GC by modulating the expression of core target genes such as RAS/MAPK signaling pathway, PTGS2 and MMP9.
