Sexual health is a critical component of overall well-being, yet discussions around sexual function, especially in the context of postpartum recovery, are often taboo or sidelined. The aim was to review measurement tools assessing women's sexual function/health during the postpartum period. ⋯ Sexual activity questionnaire, FSFI, sexual function questionnaire, short form of the pelvic organ prolapse/urinary incontinence sexual questionnaire, sexual health outcomes in women questionnaire, shorter version of FSFI, sexual function questionnaire's medical impact scale, and Carol scale are valid and reliable measuring tools to assess sexual function or sexual health during postpartum period, which can be used in primary studies according to the study aim and objectives.

Multicenter Study Observational Study
The impact of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (low) status on the efficacy of first line cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors in advanced breast cancer.
The fact that the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-low group, historically classified as HER2 negative in breast cancer histology, benefited from HER2-targeted treatments similarly to the HER2-positive group indicates that this group has a distinct histology from the HER2-0 group. The effectiveness of cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors, which are the standard first-line treatment for hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer, in this newly defined histological subgroup remains a topic of debate. In our study, we examined the impact of HER2 status on the efficacy of CDK4/6 inhibitors. ⋯ Among the patients, 111 (69.4%) were categorized as HER2-0, and 49 (30.6%) as HER2-low. The 24-month progression-free survival rates were similar between HER2-0 and HER2-low patients (60.6% vs 65.3%, hormone receptor: 1.18, CI: 0.67-2.20, P = .554). We established that the mPFS achieved with cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors as a first-line therapy for patients with advanced breast cancer is unaffected by HER2 status.

The use of anti-CGRP antibody drugs as migraine preventive drugs is increasing worldwide, but there are still a certain number of cases where antibody drugs are ineffective or cannot be used due to high prices. Conventional prophylactic drugs or traditional Japanese medicine (kampo medicine) are still often used in such cases. However, to date, only limited evidence supports the efficacy of kampo medicine for headaches because these treatments have been used primarily empirically and traditionally. However, in recent years studies have begun to be published that describe the efficacy of kampo medicine for various types of headache. Here, we report the case of a patient who achieved a marked reduction in migraine frequency and severity by prophylactic therapy with the kampo drug yokukansan (TSUMURA Yokukansan Extract Granules). ⋯ We speculate that, in this case, migraine without aura was improved by prophylactic therapy with yokukansan due to its action on the glutamatergic system or serotonin system through suppression of orexin-A secretion or its anti-inflammatory effects as reported in previous animal studies. Yokukansan could be a usable kampo medicine for migraine prophylaxis in countries all over the world and should be investigated in a large clinical trial as soon as possible.

Desmoid tumors of rectus abdominis: A case report and literature review.
Desmoid tumor (DT) is a rare soft tissue tumor that can occur anywhere in the body. Abdominal wall DT presents unique clinical challenges due to its distinctive manifestations, treatment modalities, and the lack of biomarkers for diagnosis and recurrence prediction, making clinical decisions exceedingly complex. ⋯ Abdominal wall DT treatment requires personalized plans from multidisciplinary team discussions. Genetic testing plays a crucial role in identifying novel biomarkers for abdominal wall DT. We have once again demonstrated the significant clinical significance of CTNNB1 mutations in the diagnosis and progression of abdominal wall DT. Additionally, genes such as CCND1, CYP3A4, SLIT1, RRM1, STIM1, ESR2, UGT1A1, among others, may also be closely associated with the progression of abdominal wall DT. Future research should delve deeper into and systematically evaluate the precise impact of these genetic mutations on treatment selection and prognosis for abdominal wall DT, in order to better guide patient management and treatment decisions.

Chile is contending with the highest rates of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in both Latin America and globally, despite substantial ongoing investments in treatment. This comprehensive study, derived from PUBMED and Google searches, ANID data, and various organizational reports, highlights key areas for improvement. Over the past decade, Chile's annual infection rate has risen, signaling an urgent need for detailed analysis and effective solutions. ⋯ Chile faces significant challenges in meeting the 90/90/90 targets, yet there is optimism in aiming for the 95/95/95 strategy by 2030. Achieving success requires a global commitment, an emphasis on prevention, and collaborative efforts among authorities, healthcare providers, and patients. Overcoming these identified barriers is essential for Chile to reach its ambitious goal and ultimately end the HIV epidemic.
