In recent years, osteoarthritis of the knee, a common degenerative joint disease, often occurs in the elderly population. This disease has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients. For treating knee osteoarthritis, physical therapy is highly regarded as a very effective treatment method. ⋯ The goal is to help a large number of patients effectively alleviate the discomfort caused by knee osteoarthritis, enhance the clinical therapeutic effects, and introduce home treatment methods to reduce financial burdens. The article also compares various physical therapy methods and finds that moxibustion and electrotherapy are more suitable for home use. Other treatment methods provide a reliable scientific basis for patient treatment.

Femoral head necrosis is a common refractory disease in orthopedics, and shows a trend of getting younger. The occurrence of femoral head necrosis in adolescents is related to the use of glucocorticoids, autoimmune diseases, trauma, and other factors. ⋯ Early artificial joint replacement may have problems such as wear and loosening, so total hip replacement is not the preferred treatment for adolescent patients with femoral head necrosis. This article will elaborate the research progress of femoral head necrosis in adolescents from 3 aspects, and summarize the benefits and side effects of core decompression combined with autologous stem cell transplantation in the treatment of early femoral head necrosis, so as to provide clinical ideas for the treatment of femoral head necrosis in adolescents.

Review Case Reports
Surgical treatment of one traumatic carotid artery dissection: A case report and review of the literature.
Dissection of the cervical arteries is the most commonly identified cause of stroke in young patients. This report helps to investigate the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of cervical artery dissection (CAD). ⋯ Diagnosis of CAD mainly depends on clinical manifestations and imaging. we recommend that clinicians can prescribe either anticoagulants or antiplatelet therapy. CAD can be effectively treated by surgical reconstruction, if medical treatment with anticoagulation or antiplatelet fails or if carotid aneurysms and/or high-grade carotid stenosis persisted or have newly developed.

Chile is contending with the highest rates of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in both Latin America and globally, despite substantial ongoing investments in treatment. This comprehensive study, derived from PUBMED and Google searches, ANID data, and various organizational reports, highlights key areas for improvement. Over the past decade, Chile's annual infection rate has risen, signaling an urgent need for detailed analysis and effective solutions. ⋯ Chile faces significant challenges in meeting the 90/90/90 targets, yet there is optimism in aiming for the 95/95/95 strategy by 2030. Achieving success requires a global commitment, an emphasis on prevention, and collaborative efforts among authorities, healthcare providers, and patients. Overcoming these identified barriers is essential for Chile to reach its ambitious goal and ultimately end the HIV epidemic.

Meta Analysis
Association between high uric acid and the risk of Parkinson's disease: A meta-analysis.
Uric acid, as an important antioxidant substance in human body, has attracted much attention in relation to the risk of Parkinson's disease (PD). However, the causal relationship between them is still controversial. We perform a meta-analysis to summarize the available evidence from cohort studies on the association between high uric acid and the risk of PD. ⋯ Our study confirms a significant association between high uric acid and the risk of PD, especially in men under 60 years old, and a dose-response trend of uric acid to reduce PD risk was also observed. Furthermore, LRRK2 mutation carriers are more likely to benefit from high uric acid than non-manifesting LRRK2 mutation carriers.
