A psychometric systematic review of self-report instruments to identify anxiety in pregnancy.
To report a systematic review of the psychometric properties of self-report instruments to identify the symptoms of anxiety in pregnancy to help clinicians and researchers select the most suitable instrument. ⋯ Many instruments have been adapted for use in different populations to those for which they were designed. The State Trait Anxiety Inventory, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale have been tested more frequently than other instruments, yet require further assessment to confirm their value for use in pregnancy.

To explore the experiences, challenges and practices of critical care practitioners since the discontinuation of the Liverpool Care Pathway in critical care settings. ⋯ This study posits two key conclusions. Despite experienced critical care practitioners being able to deliver quality end-of-life care without using the Liverpool Care Pathway, junior nursing and medical staff need clear guidelines and support from experienced mentors in practice. Evidence-based guidelines related to family involvement in end-of-life care planning in critical care settings are also needed to avoid future controversies.

To report an analysis of the concept of youth physical activity self-efficacy. ⋯ This concept analysis provided an in-depth analysis and clarification of youth physical activity self-efficacy. Future research should be aimed at establishing consistency in conceptual definitions and empirical measurement to further develop the concept across disciplines.
