Retrospective cohort study. ⋯ One-year postoperative PROs improved significantly. Two-year PROs correlated strongly with 5-year postoperative PROs, indicating that 2-year PROs can predict longer term outcomes. The need for revision surgery did not influence the mid- to long-term clinical outcomes of corrective fusion surgery for ASD.Level of Evidence: 3.

Ten-Year Outcomes of Minimally Invasive Versus Open Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion in Patients With Single-Level Lumbar Spondylolisthesis.
A retrospective observational study. ⋯ Efficacy of MI-TLIF for patients with single-level lumbar spondylolisthesis is comparable to that of open TLIF over 10-years. However, MI-TLIF may have superior perioperative recovery and 2-year postoperative functional outcomes than open TLIF.Level of Evidence: 3.

Observational and morphological study with three-dimensional (3D) computed tomography (CT) analysis. ⋯ For HFM children, the incidence of C1 deformation increased from type I to type Ill. The probability of C2 anomaly and C1-C2 instability in children with different types of HFM is nearly the same. The craniovertebral junction of every HFM child must be monitored carefully for C1-C2 instability before any surgical procedure to avoid atlantoaxial dislocation and spinal cord injury.Level of Evidence: N/A.
