Case Reports68Ga-Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen-Avid Tubercular Lesions Mimicking Prostate Cancer Metastasis on Simultaneous Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen PET/MRI.
Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) has gained increasing interest as a target molecule in imaging of prostate cancer because of its selective overexpression in local prostate cancer lesions and metastasis. We report a case of a 62-year-old man with raised serum prostate-specific antigen levels who presented for Ga-PSMA HBED-CC simultaneous PET/MRI for prostate cancer evaluation. A PSMA-nonavid PI-RADS 5 (Prostate Imaging-Reporting and Data System) lesion was confirmed as adenocarcinoma on histopathology. The PSMA-avid lesions were noted in the calvarium and lung, with the calvarial lesion confirmed to be of tubercular etiology on biopsy, and both lesions subsequently responded to antitubercular treatment.

Case ReportsAbsent Cerebellar Circulation With Intact Cerebral Blood Flow on a 99mTc Bicisate "Brain Death" Study.
A 55-year old woman presented in an obtunded state and was found to have a subarachnoid hemorrhage. After endovascular repair, her condition deteriorated, and brain death was suspected. ⋯ These atypical findings are likely a result of a transient intracranial pressure differential and the timing of the study. A timely and accurate declaration of brain death has important psychosocial and ethical implications, particularly when organ donation is being considered.

Comparative StudySerum Ceruloplasmin and Striatal Dopamine Transporter Density in Parkinson Disease: Comparison With 123I-FP-CIT SPECT.
In patients with Parkinson disease (PD), decreased serum ceruloplasmin levels have been observed. This study investigated a correlation between serum ceruloplasmin-along with its related serum markers- and striatal presynaptic dopaminergic denervation measured with I-FP-CIT SPECT. ⋯ Decrease in serum ceruloplasmin had a positive correlation with a decrease in dopamine transporter density in PD patients with symptom duration of more than 1 year.

Case Reports18F-FDG Uptake in Benign Fibrous Histiocytoma of Adrenal Gland: A Potential Pitfall.
A 47-year-old man with newly diagnosed nasopharyngeal carcinoma underwent staging F-FDG PET/CT. Apart from showing increased FDG uptake in the primary site and locoregional nodal and liver metastases, an unusual site of intense FDG focus was demonstrated in the left adrenal gland. He underwent CT-guided biopsy, and the histopathologic diagnosis was benign fibrous histiocytoma.

Case ReportsImage of the Month: Multifocal 68Ga Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen Ligand Uptake in the Skeleton in a Man With Both Prostate Cancer and Multiple Myeloma.
Ga prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) HBED-CC PET/CT in a 65-year-old man with first diagnosis of prostate cancer (PC) and a history of multiple myeloma showing multifocal PSMA ligand uptake in the skeleton with corresponding osteolytic lesions in CT. Although osteolytic bone metastases are very rare in PC, PSMA expression in PET raised the suspicion of PC bone metastases. Bone marrow biopsy excluded PC metastases with immunohistochemistry showing endothelial expression of PSMA in small vessels within the myeloma.
