Cardiac MRI Findings of Myocarditis After COVID-19 mRNA Vaccination in Adolescents.
Background: A possible association has been reported between COVID-19 mRNA vaccination and myocarditis. Objective: To describe cardiac MRI findings in patients with myocarditis after COVID-19 mRNA vaccination. Methods: This retrospective study included patients who underwent cardiac MRI between May 14, 2021 and June 14, 2021 for suspected myocarditis within 2 weeks of COVID-19 mRNA vaccination, without known prior COVID-19. ⋯ LGE persisted in 2 patients undergoing repeat MRI. The observations do not establish causality. Clinical impact: Radiologists should be aware of the possible association of COVID-19 mRNA vaccination and myocarditis, and recognize the role of cardiac MRI in assessment of suspected myocarditis after COVID-19 vaccination.

Performance of a Severity Score on Admission Chest Radiograph in Predicting Clinical Outcomes in Hospitalized Patients with Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
BACKGROUND. Chest radiographs (CXRs) are typically obtained early in patients admitted with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and may help guide prognosis and initial management decisions. OBJECTIVE. ⋯ For patients admitted with COVID-19, an admission CXR severity score may help predict hospital mortality, intubation, and CRRT. CLINICAL IMPACT. CXR may assist risk assessment and clinical decision-making early in the course of COVID-19.

Prospective PI-RADS v2.1 Atypical Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Nodules With Marked Restricted Diffusion: Detection of Clinically Significant Prostate Cancer on Multiparametric MRI.
BACKGROUND. On the basis of expert consensus, PI-RADS version 2.1 (v2.1) introduced the transition zone (TZ) atypical benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) nodule, defined as a TZ lesion with an incomplete or absent capsule (T2 score, 2). PI-RADS v2.1 also included a revised scoring pathway whereby such nodules, if exhibiting marked restricted diffusion (DWI score, 4-5), are upgraded from overall PI-RADS category 2 to category 3 (2 + 1 TZ lesions). ⋯ The rate of csPCa in atypical BPH nodules with marked restricted diffusion was low (6%) and not significantly different from that of conventional 3 + 0 TZ lesions (11%). CLINICAL IMPACT. The results provide prospective clinical data about the revised TZ scoring criterion and pathway in PI-RADS v2.1 for atypical BPH nodules with marked restricted diffusion.

Multicenter StudyMulticenter Study of Temporal Changes and Prognostic Value of a CT Visual Severity Score in Hospitalized Patients With Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
BACKGROUND. Chest CT findings have the potential to guide treatment of hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19). OBJECTIVE. ⋯ A prognostic model based on the CT visual severity score and clinical variables shows strong performance in predicting in-hospital complications. CLINICAL IMPACT. The prognostic model using the CT visual severity score may help identify patients at highest risk of poor outcomes and guide early intervention.

Diagnostic Accuracy and Interobserver Agreement of PI-RADS Version 2 and Version 2.1 for the Detection of Transition Zone Prostate Cancers.
BACKGROUND. PI-RADS version 2.1 (v2.1) introduced a number of key changes to the assessment of transition zone (TZ) lesions. OBJECTIVE. ⋯ Reader experience continues to affect the performance of prostate MRI interpretation with PI-RADS v2.1. CLINICAL IMPACT. PI-RADS v2.1 is more accurate and reproducible than PI-RADS v2 for the diagnosis of TZ PCa.
