The Myasthenia Gravis Patient Registry (MGR) is a voluntary, patient-submitted database dedicated to improve understanding of care/burden of myasthenia gravis (MG). ⋯ The MGR data correlate well with other MG cohorts. Many MG patients remain negatively impacted despite treatment.

Nerve cross-sectional area (CSA) is larger than normal in Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease 1A (CMT1A), although to a variable extent. We explored whether CSA is correlated with CMT clinical severity measured with neuropathy score version 2 (CMTNS2) and its examination subscore (CMTES2) in CMT1A. ⋯ Nerve size is significantly associated with clinical scores in CMT1A, which suggests that it might represent a potential biomarker of CMT damage and progression.

Little is published on the prognosis of small fiber neuropathy (SFN). ⋯ Small fiber neuropathy tends to be stable and rarely affects ambulation and employment status. Effective pain control remains a challenge.

The advent of high-resolution neuromuscular ultrasound (US) has provided a useful tool for conservative treatment of peripheral entrapment mononeuropathies. US-guided interventions require careful coordination of transducer and needle movement along with a detailed understanding of sonoanatomy. ⋯ Technical aspects as well as the current understanding of the indications and efficacy of these procedures for common entrapment mononeuropathies are reviewed in this study.
