Tofacitinib, an oral Janus kinase inhibitor, for the treatment of chronic plaque psoriasis: Long-term efficacy and safety results from 2 randomized phase-III studies and 1 open-label long-term extension study.
Tofacitinib is an oral Janus kinase inhibitor being investigated for psoriasis. ⋯ Oral tofacitinib demonstrated sustained efficacy in patients with psoriasis through 2 years, with 10 mg BID providing greater efficacy than 5 mg BID. No unexpected safety findings were observed.

Review Meta AnalysisThe efficacy of 308-nm excimer laser/light (EL) and topical agent combination therapy versus EL monotherapy for vitiligo: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
Combination therapies of excimer laser/light (EL) and various topical agents are widely used in the treatment of vitiligo. ⋯ Topical calcineurin inhibitors in conjunction with EL are more effective compared with EL monotherapy.

Acne is one of the most common disorders treated by dermatologists and other health care providers. While it most often affects adolescents, it is not uncommon in adults and can also be seen in children. ⋯ Issues from grading of acne to the topical and systemic management of the disease are reviewed. Suggestions on use are provided based on available evidence.
