Interstitial lung disorders in the indium workers of Korea: an update study for the relationship with biological exposure indices.
Korea is one of the highest indium-consuming countries worldwide. The present study aims to determine the relationship between interstitial lung disorders and indium exposure in Korea. ⋯ Workforce medical surveillance should be established to prevent indium-induced interstitial lung disease in Korea.

Proportion of opioid use due to compensated workers' compensation claims in Manitoba, Canada.
This study identifies the percentage of opioids prescribed for compensated workplace conditions in Manitoba, Canada and whether Workers Compensation Board (WCB) status is associated with higher prescription opioid doses. ⋯ WCB recipients account for a small, but significant amount of the total opioid prescribed in Manitoba. Manitoba's WCB population is a group at increased risk of being prescribed over 120 ME/day.

This analysis describes work safety climate, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and injuries among Latino residential roofers, and examines the associations of work safety climate with PPE use and injuries. ⋯ Supervisors promoting safety may increase the PPE use and decrease injuries.
