This article presented a patient with antiphospholipid syndrome presenting a catastrophic antiphospholipide syndrome after anticoagulation suspending for gastrointestinal bleeding. Multidisciplinary management in intensive care unit and aggressive therapies (corticosteroids, anticoagulation, plasma exchange) were essential to rescue the patient.
