Case ReportsUnilateral permanent loss of vision after nefopam administration.
Acute glaucoma angle closure is a rare complication of anaesthesia and multimodal analgesia. However it is a medical emergency, hence any delay in its treatment may have catastrophic consequences. We present a case of postoperative glaucoma, which had evolved to permanent blindness. We also reviewed the French pharmacovigilance database between 1996 and 2006 and found four other cases of acute glaucoma angle closure in postoperative period possibly related to the administration of nefopam.

Prevention of drug delivery disturbances during continuous intravenous infusion: An in vitro study on a new multi-lumen infusion access device.
Stopping and restarting carrier fluid flow and performing simultaneous drug infusions can lead to hazardous disturbances in drug delivery. The present study was designed to assess in vitro whether using a multi-lumen infusion access device could prevent noradrenaline disturbances. ⋯ Using the nine-lumen infusion device reduces drug delivery disturbances during continuous intravenous infusion.

Observational StudyStudy of agreement of aortic, radial and femoral blood pressures during aortic endografting.
To estimate the agreement between radial or femoral, and ascending aortic invasive blood pressure values. ⋯ The femoral MAP is more accurate to predict value of the aortic MAP than the radial MAP in a hypotensive setting. The clinician should be aware of these discrepancies in conditions of hemodynamic impairment to optimize the treatment.

Observational Study[Obstetric epidural: Focus on French information's quality on the Internet in 2009 and 2010.]
The variability of the medical information available on the Internet (MedInfoWeb) raises concern about its quality. There is no data about the quality of MedInfoWeb concerning epidural analgesia for labour (EAL). Our aims were to assess the quality of MedInfoWeb concerning EAL and to study the stability of MedInfoWeb and the ranking of website into search engine (SE) during 1year. ⋯ The quality of MedInfoWeb concerning EAL is poor and did not improve between 2009 and 2010. The MedInfoWeb is unstable: 42% of the websites disappeared in 1year. No website or SE is currently able to give reliable medical information concerning EAL.
