Case ReportsPeriungual Bowen's Disease in a 12-Year-Old Boy Treated with Photodynamic Therapy.
Bowen's disease (BD) usually occurs on sun-exposed areas in elderly patients. BD rarely occurs in childhood and lesions of the nail unit and periungual area are likely associated with human papillomavirus infection. Herein, we report a case of BD presenting on the periungual area in a 12-year-old boy which was successfully treated with two sessions of photodynamic therapy.

Pharmacokinetic Profile, Safety, and Tolerability of Crisaborole Topical Ointment, 2% in Adolescents with Atopic Dermatitis: An Open-Label Phase 2a Study.
Phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4) is an emerging target in treating inflammatory skin diseases. Crisaborole topical ointment, 2% is a novel, boron-based, topical PDE4 inhibitor under investigation for treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (AD). ⋯ These results provide preliminary evidence for the limited systemic exposure, safety, and effectiveness of crisaborole topical ointment, 2% in adolescents with mild to moderate AD.
