Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Growth Factors Levels Determine Efficacy of Platelets Rich Plasma Injection in Knee Osteoarthritis: A Randomized Double Blind Noninferiority Trial Compared With Viscosupplementation.
To assess the noninferiority of a single platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection compared with hyaluronic acid (HA), to alleviate pain and enhance functional capacity in knee osteoarthritis, and identify biological characteristics of PRP that may affect their efficacy. ⋯ Level II, randomized double blind controlled trial.

Comparative Study
Arthroscopic Fixation of Tibial Eminence Fractures: A Biomechanical Comparative Study of Screw, Suture, and Suture Anchor.
To compare biomechanical outcomes of 4 different arthroscopic techniques for fixation of tibial eminence fractures. ⋯ The new techniques showed satisfactory biomechanical properties and provided more choice for surgeons in the treatment of tibial eminence fractures.
-
To prospectively evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for diagnosing ramp lesions, to compare them between 1.5- and 3-T MRI, and to evaluate whether bone contusion of the posterior lip of the medial tibial plateau was associated with ramp lesions. ⋯ Level III, comparative trial.
-
To systematically review the literature in an effort to compare outcomes of patients undergoing primary anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) with a quadriceps tendon (QT) autograft versus a bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB) or hamstring tendon (HT) autograft. ⋯ Level III, systematic review of Level II and III studies.
-
To evaluate patients' ability to return to swimming after hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS) with capsular closure. ⋯ Level IV, case series.
