To evaluate and compare two adjustable femoral cortical suspensory fixation devices used for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction through a novel, direct computed tomography (CT) analysis metric and biomechanical laxity testing in a matched cadaveric human knee study. ⋯ Use of either of the adjustable-loop cortical suspensory devices in our analysis would appear to produce similar, acceptable laxity outcomes and minimal effects in terms of device-related loop displacement.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Adipose-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells With Microfracture Versus Microfracture Alone: 2-Year Follow-up of a Prospective Randomized Trial.
To compare the clinical and radiologic efficacy of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) with fibrin glue and microfracture (MFX) versus MFX alone in patients with symptomatic knee cartilage defects. ⋯ Level II, prospective comparative study.

To determine if the use of thigh-high compression stockings could decrease the incidence of cerebral desaturation events (CDEs) in patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m(2) or greater undergoing shoulder arthroscopy in the beach-chair position (BCP). ⋯ Level IV, therapeutic case series.
-
To present outcomes in a series of patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS)-hypermobility type who underwent hip arthroscopy for associated hip pain and extreme capsular laxity. ⋯ Level IV, therapeutic case series.
