To conduct an economic evaluation estimating the cost per live birth after controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) using Follitropin Alpha (Gonal-F), in the Greek National Health System setting. A secondary objective was to predict the live birth rateof the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedure. ⋯ The present study constitutes the largest single-arm study based on real data in Greece to date. The cost of IVF treatment and the cost per live birth are not insignificant in this NHS setting. The live birth rate, cost per oocyte, and the cost per live birth are in line with literature. OSI was a main contributing factor to the accurate prediction of the live birth rate, while age and BMI were found to be negatively correlated.

To provide an updated comparison of the risk and cost of stroke/systemic embolism (SE) and major bleeding between direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC: apixaban, rivaroxaban, dabigatran) and warfarin among non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) patients. ⋯ This real-world analysis showed DOACs to be associated with a lower risk of stroke/SE and major bleeding, and lower medical costs compared to warfarin. Among them, only apixaban appears to be associated with a significantly lower risk of all three outcomes collectively: stroke/SE, major bleeding, and lower related medical costs compared to warfarin.

To assess the knowledge level and awareness of Alzheimer's disease, including knowledge about the disease, pharmacotherapy, provision of patient education and associated factors among community pharmacists across Turkey and Northern Cyprus. ⋯ There is still a lack of knowledge regarding AD reported by moderate ADKS score, especially in medically-oriented domains, which creates a barrier to early provision of care and preventing AD, noted with no difference among community pharmacists across Turkey and Northern Cyprus.

Review Meta Analysis
The evidence from clinical trials on colchicine and corticosteroids' effect on COVID-19: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
With no clear end for the outbreak, identifying the drugs that are effective in COVID-19's management is of utmost importance to reduce the impact on the general population and the healthcare systems. ⋯ The use of colchicine did not significantly reduce the mortality rate, ICU admissions, and mechanical ventilation among COVID-19 patients. Conversely, corticosteroids significantly reduced the mortality rate, ICU admissions, mechanical ventilation, and hospitalization duration among COVID-19 patients.

e-MEDRESP is a novel web-based tool that provides easily interpretable information on patient adherence to asthma/chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) medications, using pharmacy claims data. This study investigated the feasibility of implementing e-MEDRESP in primary care. ⋯ e-MEDRESP was successfully integrated in clinical practice. It could serve as a useful tool to help physicians monitor their patients' medication adherence.
