Multicenter StudySeasonal Variations and Associated Factors of Gout Attacks: a Prospective Multicenter Study in Korea.
We purposed to evaluate the seasonality and associated factors of the incidence of gout attacks in Korea. ⋯ In this prospective study, the most common season and month of gout attacks in Korea are spring and March, respectively. Alcohol is the most common provoking factor, particularly during summer. Diurnal temperature changes on the day of the attack and humidity changes from the day before the attack to the day of the attack are associated with gout attack in our cohort.

Case ReportsClinical Significance of a High SARS-CoV-2 Viral Load in the Saliva.
Patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) can unknowingly spread the virus to several people during the early subclinical period. ⋯ SARS-CoV-2 viral load was consistently high in the saliva; it was relatively higher than that in the oropharynx during the early stage of COVID-19. Chlorhexidine mouthwash was effective in reducing the SARS-CoV-2 viral load in the saliva for a short-term period.
