Subnormal Binocular Contrast Sensitivity Summation in Patients with Intermittent Exotropia.
To evaluate binocular summation ratio using contrast sensitivity (CS) testing and correlation between binocular summation and stereoacuity, and control scale in intermittent exotropia (IXT). ⋯ Our findings of subnormal binocular CS summation ratio in IXT had correlation with stereoacuity and control scale suggest that binocular CS testing may be a useful method in assessing binocular visual function in IXT.

The Epidemiology of Dupuytren's Disease in Korea: a Nationwide Population-based Study.

We investigated the prevalence and incidence of DD in Korea using the large dataset provided by the Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. This study is the second nationwide epidemiological study of DD after the study in Taiwan. ⋯ The prevalence and incidence of DD in Korea were 100-1,000 times lower than those in western countries; however, it was slightly larger than that in Taiwan.

The Burden of Acute Pesticide Poisoning and Pesticide Regulation in Korea.
This study aimed to estimate the burden of acute pesticide poisoning and to determine its trend with recently implemented pesticide regulations. ⋯ As this is the first study to quantify the burden of acute pesticide poisoning using DALYs, our results provide comprehensive evidence of the importance of using strict regulations to prevent public health hazards due to acute pesticide poisoning.
