Review Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Comparison of LMA Supreme™ with i-gel™ and LMA ProSeal™ in children for airway management during general anaesthesia: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
A few randomized trials have compared LMA Supreme™ with LMA ProSeal™ and i-gel™ in children but their conclusions varied widely. This systematic review and meta analysis has compared the former device with the latter two devices. ⋯ We suggest that LMA Supreme™ may be an alternative to LMA ProSeal™ and i-gel™ in children for airway management during general anaesthesia.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Preliminary investigation of preoperative pregabalin and total intravenous anesthesia doses: a randomized controlled trial.
To determine the efficacy of 2 different doses (150-300mg) of preoperative pregabalin on propofol and remifentanil doses for total intravenous anesthesia in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. ⋯ The observations provide preliminary evidence that preoperative pregabalin may decrease anesthetic agent requirement in total intravenous anesthesia patients.

Comparative Study
Perioperative risks of narcolepsy in patients undergoing general anesthesia: A case-control study.
To compare the perioperative outcomes between patients with narcolepsy and matched controls undergoing anesthetic management. ⋯ Narcoleptic patients had similar intraoperative courses as the matched controls, including phase I anesthetic recovery. However, they had a higher rate of emergency response team activations than the controls, which suggests that patients with narcolepsy may be at increased perioperative risk.
